Review Beach Bistro - Browns Bay

Petka Adamkova
It's our favorite place in Browns Bay for brunch. We love their homemade hashbrowns and freshly squeezed juices! Eggs Benedict with salmon and The Beach platter, both our meals were delicious as always. Our meals are bigger size of the meal on the picture as they have option to choose between smaller and bigger serving. Lovely staff and clean tidy toilets. Option to sit outside. Nice view on the beach as well.

I had a steak and eggs with some chips I won't say I will have that again a bit bland however my friend had the eggs with potato rosti and I had a taste and it tasted lovely the smoothie was refreshing. beetroot and ginger and spinach as far as I recall. The staff were attentive and the food didn't take too long to come out

Fantastic Home Cooked Meal! This is not your typical commercialised restaurant. But provides a very at home feel. Owner was extremely friendly to our table and everyone else that walks through the door. Service is better than what you would expect at a bistro. The food was delicious too. Best patte I’ve had in a while. The prawns were tasty and friend cheese was yummy too. The rib was tender and pork belly melts perfectly with rice matched with sticky sauce. Veges are fresh and pizza was made with fresh ingredients also. Highly recommended. Healthy, delicious fabulous meal. Felt like I was at moms house again. Service: 5/5 Food Quality: 5/5 Food Quantity: 5/5 Environment: 4/5 Presentation: 4/5 Price per person: $30-$50

The best cafe in Browns Bay. The staff and owners are very friendly and the menu caters to all tastes. Excellent coffee and vegetarian food options. Both indoor and outdoor seating as well as an area for dogs.

I'm so glad to see this restaurant is open again... It's our favorite place for Sunday morning breakfast. Awesome food, super friendly owners and great service from all the staff. Child friendly and dog owners as well. Keep up the awesomeness Beach Bistro!!

Such a stunning little spot for a gorgeous brunch at the beach. Beautiful views especially if you get the tables right on the road, food is incredible, a little pricey so for us it was a nice treat and so worth it as a Valentine's day brunch date!

Had a nice breakfast with my colleagues there today. Good coffee, good service, awesome views! What else to ask for? :)

Very good service and tasty food. Nice location.

Excellent place! We were there for dinner and had the cream of celery and bacon soup, fish pot pie and bangers and mash. The food was outstanding, the portions were large and the service was good. The coffee was also superb! Steve was friendly and we had a good chat. You can tell they take real pride in their food. They've got local music events on some Sundays and Mondays, but note that the events are ticketed as the place is small. Would love to eat here every day! Excellent!

Really enjoy the little restaurant, foods are very delicious and service is suuuuuuuuuuper good. Must try the beef as appetizer, chef will cook it beside your table, so interesting. Portions are huge, doesn't have chance to taste the pizza, will try next time: )

Went for breakfast. I had the salmon benedict and wife had the bacon. My salmon benedict was amazing. It was on this potato hash the was crispy. The eggs were near perfect and the hollandaise was really good. The bacon on my wifes meal was crispy. Prices are a tad more expensive but it is quality. I would go back again.

Went past and wondered why everyone was at Java Jungle. Found out why the hard way. Extortionate prices so decided to just have coffee. Got an extra shot and it tasted of milk alone. Hot chocolate should be renamed "not chocolate" as it also was just milk. Price was also $2 above the Brown's Bay average for these two drinks.

Went for breakfast staff very attentive and friendly <br/>Best coffee and great menu selection had the French toast and eggs benny perfect meal couldn’t fault anything <br/>Definitely be back great place right across road from the beach

A cute cafe, had delicious breakfasts & coffee with friends, (fussy coffee drinkers) nice location & friendly staff. Great for a catch up, we will be back

This is not one of those hipster cafes that are so prevalent in Auckland these days. At the Beach bistro, the food is genuine, homely and delicious. I had the Salmon Eggs Benedict. The hollandaise sauce was rich but not over powering; the home-cured salmon had a hint of sweetness that was just fantastic with some freshly squeezed lemon juice, it would literally melt in your mouth. The eggs were cooked perfectly; and the potato rosti was crunchy on the edges and soft on the inside, accompanied by the fragrant rosemary. The serving size for huge - not complaining!! The only thing that could be improved is the amount of the balsamic reduction. It’s sweetness counteracts with the eggs and salmon perfectly, but there just wasn’t enough of it! Lastly, the flat white was delicious, the flavour of the espresso is clean, unlike some cafes that serve burnt and bitter coffees. The foam was a bit thick for a flat white, but I liked it that way. Fantastic place to eat !

Always great food and great service. Love the new dolce option(coffee and cake till 10pm)<br/>Open till 10pm each night. Bistro nights are also a real winner

went to this place quite often as we live nearby. it's a small but cozy cafe right across the Browns bay beach. me and my parner LOVES this place. it has a great wide range of menu from your fav classic brunch and lunch menu. Great value. and of course, taste to die for.<br/><br/>Food: my fav is the 'PIGGY' or pork belly bennie: what makes this bennie so special is NOT only the pork belly (those juicy, soft and oh so flavourful taste that you can only taste from cooking the meat for HOURS), BUT also the HASH PATTIES! omg, theyre so crispy, flavourful and moist in the middle hash. they have mixed herbs flavor in it; rosemary, thyme and just yummy potatoes! their hollandaise sauce is VERY bright-deep yellow and so creamy. oh Gosh, I could eat it on its own.<br/><br/>Coffee: they make really good coffee, none of that fancy weird taste- fobby coffee. they're just plain good ol' silky coffee that we all like. they make the best soy coffee ever.<br/><br/>Bistro: we went there to try one of their bistro menu on a weekday out of curiousity and being lazy to cook. and BOY I'M GLAD WE DID.<br/><br/>- We had pate as entree and my partner loved it. it was not your normal patè, it has a layer of fragrant and sweet syrupy layer on top (we asked and it was: Housemade eldelflower syrup- YUMM!)<br/><br/>- There were only 2 options for mains: Duck l'orange and Lamb shank. Both comes with potato gratin + Salad. this option for mains change weekly. (Eyeing the next week menu already!)<br/><br/>Potato Gratin: THEY ARE THE BEST THING IN THE WORLD! I mean I LOVE LOVE LOVE potatoes and these two VERY CRISPY CRUNCHY pillows of layered potatoes, cream, and cheese are just crazy. I could go on hours about how perfect they are.<br/><br/>Salad: Salad was very fresh, it has cherry tomatoes, onion and pomegranate seeds. very fresh and light dressing as well, what tasted like lemon, olive oil and honey maybe. def a good balance to the other heavier half (gratin)<br/><br/>Duck l'orange: very moist and juicy duck breast comes w some beans + supper yummy sticky orange sauce. the duck was just really succulent and we love duck- so def no complaint right there. and the sauce was so sticky, citrusy, sweet and almost a gin after taste. BUT OH SO FINGERLICKING GOOD.<br/><br/>now the star of the whole show: LAMB SHANK.<br/><br/>- I am not a lamb fan, BUT I put my faith on the maitre D' and ordered the lamb. and boy I'm glad I did. the Lamb was perfectly cooked: falling apart by the bone, very juicy, SUPER GREAT FLAVOR, and surprisingly no musky lamb smell!! I can taste how much effort the chef put into this dish: the flavor of those sauce: the slow cooked onion, carrot, and HEAPS OF RED WINE. it is just to die for. I was very full at the end of the night BUT I was still shoving every spoonful of sauce leftover. it was honestly that amazing.<br/><br/>we also ordered dessert which was a white choco GF brownie enclosed in a choco dome and flambè w brandy. took a video of it but couldn't upload it here. they were so so nice. the brownie was really amazing and def a great show on a date night.<br/><br/>this place is just our and local fav and I can see why. it's a breath of fresh air that focuses on the most important part of eating out/food: flavor- amongst the hundreds of new hype-hypster fobby cafès. they remind you of a great home cooked meal but with a better look. they put a twist on classic and they do it right.

This is my favourite cafe for coffee. The croissants are flown from France. The standard of food is beautiful and the flavours on the menu are above average for a beachside cafe. So glad to have it back on the shore!

A bit late adding my review.  I went to this cafe back in November for breakfast.  I had the french toast on both occasions for breakfast and they were yummo.  Service was great and all staff were very friendly. Cater for gluten free with is great.

Stumbled across this place while walking along Browns Bay beach. We had pork loin stuffed with apple, eggplant and pistachio which had an AMAZING salted caramel and scrumpy sauce. And chicken roulade wrapped with cream cheese, sundried tomato and bacon. They were both served with mashed potatoes and salad. OMG the food was absolutely delicious and so filling. Service is perfect and the waiter explained all the components of each dish. It was so good that we came back 2 nights in a row. Highly recommend

Just fantastic. Really. My wife and I have just come home from dinner, and our taste buds are still in a state of delight. Just gorgeous: sumptuous, perfectly cooked food that leaves you thinking - "How can it BE so good??" One example - the pork loin with crispy skin, melt-in-your-mouth flesh and gorgeous tangy/sweet spiced sauce...How did they do that? But EVERYTHING on our plates was top-rate. Really an experience apart from any other food experience we've had. Great stafff and service. THANK YOU Steve and Anita!

Lovely to have Beach Bistro open again 😀.... always made to feel welcome ❤️ and doggy heaven 🐶🐶🐶🐶 coffee was great and service awesome.

Favourite cafe in the neighbourhood! Always friendly service (although at times a little hit and miss), great coffee and superb location. Absolutely love their crispy house-made potato hash, and unique pork belly / massive sized house-cured salmon eggs benedict. But the killer is of course the coconut french toast, to die for! Really happy that they came back after the fire last year!

Very nice staff and an awesome place. Nice setup and very open. Food was good as well. Almost all of it. Calamari tasted chewy but apart from that everything was good The best part was the smoothie I had 2😍

Have been here several times since re-opening for coffee, breakfast, lunch and to try their deicious pastries.  It never disappoints.  Their staff are always cheerful, helpful and knowledgeable.   Next I need to try their bistro nights - apparently AMAZING!!

■ Indoor & Outdoor seating, perfect view of Bbay beach<br/>■ Awesome staff<br/>■ Delicious brunch menu<br/><br/>■ Gets very busy<br/><br/>Man do they do a good eggs benedict!! Looove their service too. One of my best friends work here so Im gonna sound a little biased to say so but their service is actually impeccable! So approachable and they direct newcomers around the menu well. Their french toast is also A+<br/><br/>Located at the back end of Browns Bay with a beautiful sea-view so great view + great food = Winning?? I cant wait to come back here with the girls again!<br/><br/>

I went to Beach Bistro with a group for my friends birthday lunch. This was the first time for all of us and we all LOVED it! You can not go past good service - the waiter who served us was EXCEPTIONAL! He even whipped out a birthday hat for the birthday girl. He tried guessing all our dishes too. <br/><br/>As for the food, I really enjoyed my portobello goats cheese salad. The flavours blended together perfectly. I loved the Asian twist on the menu and also the WIDE variety! We couldn't stop raving about our perfect experience.<br/><br/>Only down side is - the smoothie and milkshakes weren't up there with the food. Still a wonderful place to dine, nonetheless!

I ordered pukkolla and buffalo yoghurt whereas my friend ordered spicy funghi. My meal was really nice mostly because I'm craving for some yoghurts. I tried the spicy funghi and it is really good. I should have ordered that instead. The service is really good as well, one of the waitresses allowed us to change into an indoor seat. This place has a nice view so I'm looking forward to come back.

Food and service always good. Enjoyable relaxed atmosphere by the beach.<br/>Had one of their gourmet pies absolutely delicious. ..eggs bene also good.

I took my little one here for lunch on weekend but unfortunately the kitchen is closed, so I tried some snack. Handcut potato chips is crunchy and sauce besides is yummy. The warm bread is good but I don't like the dips besides. Mango smoothie is presented in a cute jar, I like it but I know a few in other cafe is better than this. <br/>Last but at least, last time I came here, I tried green egg and ham as brunch, it's yummy! Recommended to those who want something light.

Generally a good experience. The steak gratin dish I had was done fairly well. Steak was cooked to a good level of consistency and was reasonably tender, accompanying salad and potato was also tasty. My dad had the Spicy Funghi dish containing chorizo, portobello mushroom, and toast. This was a slight disappointment as the portion was very small for the price tag. One glitch in service was that seemed to forget the coffee we later ordered, but this was promptly rectified after it was brought to their attention.

This cafe is perfect for an early morning breakfast! The waiter has such a great personality and very friendly. He always tries to guess what we are going to order and attempts to make me drink some sort of alcoholic laced beverage at 8 in the morning! The food is wonderful and tastes amazing, would recommend the beach breakfast as it is so tasty and contained very little oil which made the meal feel much 'cleaner'. Would definitely recommend to anyone as the service is so good! Will be coming here more often.

This cafe / restaurant is my favourite in Browns Bay.  It's perfect for a casual drop-in coffee and cake, a great brunch or lunch, or an evening meal.  The staff are always friendly and welcoming, and the food is superb.  The menu offers a great range, and there are always surprises in the daily-changing contents of fresh cooked gourmet pies.  For those who want fries, but think they should make an attempt to be healthy, order a "man salad"!  Love the good humour of the place and awesome coffee.

Great location, delicious food. The Coconut French Toast was a stand-out, and The Beach Big Breakfast was very good, just needed some sauce on the side. Also tried the lamb tagine pie - so tender and tasty, just melts in the mouth! Friendly service as well. Definitely recommend.

I always feel welcome here, and the staff are very friendly and efficient.  The food is consistently good (love the vegetarian breakfast and the eggs bennie).  I do however find that the interior of the bistro is too noisy at times, and $9 for a grapefruit juice is rather excessive!

Great ambience and service. Fantastic views, quite and relaxing. The coffee is good and the service is very attentive. I find very enjoyable to visit this Bistro.

I pretty much live at this cafe! It is my no.1 choice for breakfast and lunch 😊 highly recommend this cafe - their French toast is by far my fav meal on the menu.

Sunday morning often means brunch out in our household, so we decided to take the dog and go for a wander down to Browns Bay and ended up at this little gem.   We ordered one Beach Breakfast, one Eggs Benedict with pork belly and two coffees, and what an enjoyable meal we had in the sun. <br/><br/>The chicken sausages were full of flavor, the poached eggs were cooked just right and the other items were also created and placed on the plate with much love. In terms of full-monty breakfasts, this was certainly very ‘clean’ and there was little residue of grease or fat on the plate for my very fussy eater companion.<br/><br/>For me the twist on eggs bene was welcomed, and I’m one of those people who like their hollandaise on the side which I would recommend with this dish as the pork belly and eggs alone are rich enough. The rosemary hashbrowns was cooked perfectly but I have to admit the rosemary was little overpowering for me, but that’s just personal preference.<br/><br/>Coffee was good. Service was relaxed, yet efficient.  Meals were great. And the people here all seem to love dogs, so for me, this experience was a definite two thumbs up. Looking forward to returning again and next time I'm trying the French toast which I spotted and had a moment of food envy.

This is my go to place in Browns Bay.  Lovely coffee, the best eggs bene and a relaxing atmosphere.  I've taken my family there too for a weekend brunch and they do great half portions for the kids.

*Don't order the "Mince on Toast" :(<br/>Went a long with a crowd for breakfast. Everyone went with the traditional eggs bene / french toast, I made the mistake of being original and went with the Mince on toast which I saw and craved at the time. <br/><br/>My expectations for a menu is that all the food should be edible and that customers will have there favourites but the meal that was presented to be was disappointing and sadly un-edible. It was far from the standard I have come to expect from the owner and cafe as I have been many times before.<br/><br/>I passed the food back, said that I did not like it and could not eat it (unsure if the chef is tasting their mince before sending out?), I know the owner is a great guy and works very hard on customer satisfaction so still decided to pay for it as I want to support our local business while also communicating that it was not satisfactory.<br/><br/>I wish the cafe all the best but unable at this time to further recommend it to other when items on the menu are not all up to standard.

I went here for brunch while wedding planning and had the BEST time. There were four of us so we ordered two eggs bene with pork belly and two coconut french toast and halved them. An ingenious and delicious solution to not being able to decide on what we wanted. <br/><br/>The food was divine, the service friendly and notably, even though it's months later I still get the occasional taste flashback. I can't wait to go back for more!

Great Cakes. Anita is a great chef.

Meat Pie. Anita makes a mean meat pie. It is tasty and hearty. thanks

My husband and I had an evening meal here on 4th February - bubbly on arrival, 2 courses consisting Confit du Canard with an orange sauce on mashed potato accompanied by a delicious mixed leaf salad.  To follow I had the apple Tarte Tatin.  All superbly cooked, very generous portions and beautifully presented.  I was transported back to my many visits to France of yesteryear.<br/><br/>Anita and Steve deserve every accolade and should do well with this, fairly new, venture of opening several evenings mid-week.  Can highly recommend.

Have been a few times for breakfast. Enjoy the food and usually appreciate the service from Steve (the owner)<br/><br/>Went late in the afternoon while Steve was not around for a take away coffee. Not only was I overcharged  (ordered a regular but paid for a large) but the coffee tasted like crap too. Didn't help that the barista was a smart-ass. This place could use better staff.

We had lunch here on a Sunday. The tuna and citrus salad was excellent. So nice to have sushimi tuna, and it appears to be popular as I had the last one that day. Both our Coffees were a bit on the weak side which was disappointing ( maybe need to specify double shot?), but salad made up for it. My husband had the coconut French toast and really enjoyed it

This is a short review. (Visited 5.07.14)<br/>It had been a long day and I needed caffeine to help me through - turns out, my company was up for a cuppa too. <br/>Warm welcome, fun service & excellent coffee.<br/>Two Flatwhites & one espresso.<br/><br/>Would go back based on coffee alone.

This is my cafe every Sunday morning after the market. The coffee is perfect, the food is great, the staff are lovely. And it has free WiFi. Need I say more? Music at a good volume, nice paintings on the wall.

I went there on 18 April 2014 Easter Friday, took a lady I came all the way from Wellington to see, just sat down &amp; ordered drinks &amp; the manager at the table opposite me decided to conduct a staff meeting at the highest volume she could generate. I asked her to take the conversation out the back, she just sat there &amp; I heard her question her staff why she should do this, as they explained the situation to her, she didn't budge &amp; continued to speak to staff in the cafe environment, very rude, she seemed Asian &amp; completely very ignorant of cafe restaurant etiquette! When I went to pay the bill (of which I expected to have it waived, it wasn't), the staff member apologized for the managers conducting of the meeting. I said it was not up to her to apologise, it should have come from the manager...in hindsight, I should have walked earlier. I will never go back to places with bad customer service, as experienced in this cafe. overpriced also.Terrible noisy management.

Just loved this café - today being Easter Saturday we by chance ended up at this café - the staff were just awesome right from the start. We were wrapped that they had Gluten free options and the food was just delicious - we had the Gluten free BLT . What was even more thrilling was that our puppy was welcomed as well. Her 1st experience at an outdoor café and the staff gave her water and treats - no charge and they made a huge fuss of her - she got several treats during our meal from the waiter. Even as busy as they were nothing was toomuch trouble. We cannot speak highly enough over our fabulous service or the way they treated our dog. Highly recommend and we will be back.

Well, after posting a rather negative reivew a few months back, we decided to give this place another try. We always really enjoyed the food and the location, but the service used to let the cafe down. However, we were very happy to see a complete turn-around in service! Water and menus were on our table within a minute of sitting down, the food and coffee were great (as always), and the overall attention level from the waiting staff was really good. The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxed, lovely paintings on the walls, clean facilities. Will be happy to return in the future. This is now our #1 destination at Browns Bay. Cheers!

We go to Beach Cafe very regularly. We find the staff and the owner very friendly and eager to oblige. The food is always of good quality and very well presented. Just lately we attended a wine tasting, a fabulous and informative evening had by all. We love this place for its relaxing atmosphere, its friendly staff and the yummy food. As a bonus there is an exhibition of artworks on the wall which changes from month to month. Interesting....

As soon as walked in the owner was so welcoming and gave us a menu straight away and made it easy to choose what i wanted. the food also came with in 5 mins of us arriving even though it was busy it was the quickest I've ever got my food and it was a proper meal (fish and chips). <br/><br/>All the people were super friendly and the serves was amazing it is an awesome cafe and I will be back very soon with all my friends if you haven't been but wont to try it or are new in town go to the beech cafe if you haven't been your missing out!!!! = )

We stumbled upon this lovely cafe while looking for another and found the owner so welcoming. As soon as we walked in we were acknowledged and asked if we would like a glass of wine and given the menus, how many places do this? We asked for a table outside and as soon as it was vacated, it was set up for us. We had the tahitian salad which was wonderful, and with the views of the sea and sunny, warm day, it was a memorable experience. The customer service was excellent, even got to practice a wee bit of French! We will definately be coming back here, we highly recommend this lovely cafe.

Very disappointing breakfast. After frequenting this establishment, regularly, for the past 7 months my wife and I had a rather unsatisfactory experience. Apart from the food, which was below the usual high standard, the service seems to have got even worse than the last time we have were there. On that occasion I resorted to getting my own menus and ordering at the counter. This morning I decided to wait for 15 minutes and see how many staff would walk around day dreaming. The table next to me arrived after us, but got up before me to get menus etc. Finally I managed to get the attention of one of the waitresses with the help of the international sign of distress at sea, by waving an arm about frantically ; a gesture that didn't go unnoticed amongst my fellow patrons, although most looked smug with the knowledge that they had finally been served. <br/><br/>I understand the menu had to be changed recently and whilst I can cope with old favourites being axed, the pathetic service is unacceptable. Firstly I think a cafe should have condiments and sugar available on each table. Surely that's a standard. Simply increasing table numbers for the busy season without increasing table services or service is unsatisfactory. Finally 25 minutes into our ordeal we finally managed to give someone our drinks order. However, that feeling of success was short lived because upon arrival of our order I asked if we could have some sugar. The waitress proceeded to ask the table next to us and then returned with three sachets of sugar which she promptly threw down on the table. In hindsight I am glad that when she delivered the water, we had to plead for earlier, that she didn't throw that at us. <br/><br/>All in all the service has gone from a mediocre 3/5 to a zero in my book. I was looking forward to the saving grace... The usually above standard food. <br/><br/>Well to round off the morning our two eggs benedicts arrived with what appeared to be hollandaise as a garnish. If we hadn't of asked for runny eggs, we would have ended up with dry eggs on a roll with a bit of bacon and some bad yellow sauce that couldn't even cover half an egg. <br/><br/>Simply put that was the worst attempt at an eggs Benedict I have ever had the misfortune to order, receive and pay for. A total turnaround from my previous experiences at this cafe, where the eggs 'Montreal', salmon instead of bacon, I have often considered to be one of the best in Auckland. <br/><br/>Finally the owner came over to ask how things were, but when we replied with our feedback he seemed to get really irritated. First rule of hospitality 'sir', deal with a complaint. He seemed to be quite uninterested. Maybe 45 minutes sitting down as a regular customer would change his viewpoint. Regular customers keep a business afloat for 365 days a year. Their feedback should be valued. The only reason someone complains is because they can see standards are slipping and because they like the place they are willing to take the time to provide feedback. <br/><br/>Alas I fear we will now have to look for a new cafe for breakfasts... Any ideas anyone?
Rufus
Great service, friendly staff, good food and coffee. This was our first visit here following not so good experiences in other premises. Light airy premises with good acoustics so you don't have to shout. Views out to sea, what more could one wish for? With so many cafes to chose from in browns bay it is good to have found one that we will return to.

Over the last few months we have made several trips to beach. in Browns Bay. Every time we have enjoyed beautiful food accompanied with some of the best customer service. We are greeted as long lost family members by the owners of the cafe, which makes the experience even more enjoyable.  Home made hash browns are featured on the menu and have become a favourite, along with many other enjoyable dishes like beer battered fish 'n' chips and the classic big breakfast. The drinks menu features a unique and interesting range of some of NZ's best beers and wines. A great place for breakfast or lunch... and how can you go wrong with the view of the ocean. Would highly recommend.

Had a family lunch here for my brothers birthday. The meals were fantastic, I love how they cater smaller meals for children. The pasta dish I had was just a perfect amount (as usually I am embarrassed at having to leave half my pasta dish as its too filling), this amount was perfect. I had the most amazing WHITE hot chocolate. The service was fantastic, polite, friendly and very attentive. Everyone was happy with their meals. Price is perfect. Would definitely recommend and look forward to going back again!

The boys and I took mother out for lunch yesterday, what an experience. Mothers day was so busy the staff at Beach were awesome. They pampered my wife with a small muffin and a chocolate shot and kept the boys entertained. The cafe was so busy, food took almost an hour but it was worth waiting for. Coconut French Toast for mum and I had their Big Breakfast with homemade baked beans and a fresh made hash brown. Superb! great value and the staff were so apologetic for the wait. <br/><br/>I wish I had taken photos of the food but my boy jumped all over my plate and pinched bits before I could. We will be making this a regular brunch spot when we are over on the shore.

Great coffee, and fabulous service. I had been to the cafe before when it was Spring Moon, sad and bad experience! What a change, they are open till 7pm so there is somewhere for a good coffee after work. I'm impressed with the quality of menu items and the lovely flavours. My friend had the Asian Lamb salad and I had their eggs and avo with handmade hashbrown on the side, FANTASTIC!<br/><br/>I will say that food takes a little time to come but good food takes awhile in any good establishment and it is worth the wait. I'm looking forward to my next visit.
