This place is amazing! Truly amazing, every time I have been here over the last 5-6 years the food is always delicious, the service is friendly and the meals come out pretty quickly, the pricing is very affordable and the portion sizing is great, genuinely love this place and I will keep coming back. Highly recommend 12/10

The cafe was almost full for Tue late breakie. Service was fast and courteous. It's like a hangout place for matured ones but nevertheless less I enjoyed the place. Would come back to try their proper meals on the menu.

Absolutely beautiful location; the food and beverages are excellent, and the atmosphere is easy going . The service is also great, and the prices are a little lower than the other establishments in Browns Bay that sell the same food.

Single Dad. Always looking for great places to take my 7 year old son. This is a winner every time. Mostly we call in here before we go next door to get our haircuts. Food is always delicious and plentiful. Toy box in the corner indoors which is rare in a cafe these days but welcome for him to explore. Outdoor covered seating, which works even on a rainy day. TIP: If you want a real large coffee like me. Don’t ask for large, ask for a bowl instead.

Use to come here every week before pandemic begins but last time I went which was 3 weeks ago, creamy mushrooms a little salty otherwise good

Absolutely amazing 👏 Best cafe in browns bay! I always know the staff are so kind, the food is yummy and I always get a good coffee! I'm a regular here 🥰

Acceptable food and environment. Bit slow on the food coming out. 30 minute wait for chicken burger and chicken salad during a quiet brunch. 25pp

Great food, amazing coffee and excellent customer service as well. The ambience is beautiful the music is nice and mellow and little cute birds tend to visit the coffee shop, which gives it a Disney vibe. Love it 10/10 would definitely recommend!

Just had their White Flower Breakfast, just awesome. The food was fresh cooked perfectly and brought out quickly. Will definitely go again. They were busy, but kept on top of the workload. Highly recommend.

Warm and friendly small cafe, above standard cappuccino, creamy and tasty, I like their blue berry muffin, incredible lot of berry stuffed.

Beautiful and delicious food and friendly staff.

Amazing little place in Browns Bay. Best pancakes and definitely not overpriced like some of the cafes who serve breakfast . Food alone is five stars , setting and staff a bonus !

Very delicious food and very good service! We had a very good time of babys’ birthday party.

A delightful place to visit. Friendly efficient service and food is hot and very edible! Great to see so many Gluten free options at good prices. No wonder this cafe is busy and generally very well patronised. Parking nearby is a real plus too.
My favourite cafe in Browns Bay!

Such a lovely little cafe, one of my little faves.
I really love this cafe, the food is lovely and the staff are always smiling and happy to be there. All the food is always really nice and the servings are great. I always leave happy and full. The pancakes and the mushrooms are amazing!!
There is a beautiful feature wall which I adore too.

We went to the Whiteflower cafe in Browns Bay for brunch the other day. The cafe is fairly spacious, light, airy and welcoming. We both went for the big breakfast, one with scrambled eggs and the other fried eggs. These certainly are BIG breakfasts (refer to our photos), comprising eggs, sausages, bacon, hash browns, mushrooms, baked beans, tomato and choice of toast. The food was very good and excellent value for money at $19.90. We have since returned for another round and can confirm they are also BIG lunches!

Great prices, for great portions. Unfortunately, couldn't get a picture of the food as it was eaten in seconds. The service is always really great and attentive. The food and coffee has only gone up in quality. Love coming here :) highly recommend!

Delicious pancakes and French toast, with choice of streaky or shoulder bacon. White hot chocolate, yum! Friendly service, a very nice place. Would recommend.

I ordered the omelette with salmon and was pleasantly surprised at how generous the portions were. The eggs were cooked perfectly, and the additions to the omelette (mushroom, bread etc) were nice. I also had an iced coffee that was very good. The seating was basic and you have to get your own knife and fork and napkins. The wait time was also a bit long.

Overall, I recommend.

◻Good Coffee
◻Unpretentious
◻Friendly Service

Ok so let me start by saying this is not a poser coffee shop, it reminded me of the coffee shops I would go with ny gran as a kid.
The service was spot on, super friendly and genuine

I ordered the creamy mushrooms with bacon on toast. Was a great size portion, crisp bacon and not too much cream

The coffee were perfect. Quickly served and tasted great

It has some toys for kids also, so all in all a great coffee shop. But tired looking but who cares 👍

i LIKE THE FACT THAT THE STAFF IS VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL TOWARDS THE ELDERLY VISITORS FROM THE REST HOMES NEAR BY. IMPROVEMENTS: MORE VARIATION: WE GET TIRED OF PANINIS

My friend and I went here today the food was over priced for the quality under cooked eggs. we left after only a few bites as the food was bland and we didnt even want to bother eating it. my fork also was not cleaned properly and had bits of food still on it. the table was covered with ring marks. would never go back. There was one barista that was very helpful but also the wait staff seemed confused. However the coffee was nice.

Went here today with my partner and I am pretty sure the cafe has been sold recently as there is a whole new team of people in here. White flower is an a beautiful cafe itself, there is a nice covered area, the inside is open and fresh. The service is ok, there are two friendly ladies at the counter though the blonde barista walks around with a sour look on her face like she doesn't want to be there. Our food was average too. I got the Open Chicken Sandwich and my partner got the BLAT. The bread was really oily and it wasn't anything special. The coffee was pretty good though. I might come back later on to see if the food and service gets any better, otherwise I'm sure there are better cafes in Brownsbay.

This is an adorable cafe. The staff are always friendly and the coffee is hot. The cabinet treats are a perfect pick me up - i recommend the yo-yo's (delicious buttery goodness, I'm addicted).

I've always liked this cafe, they have toys for the kids and the coffee is always hot. They could change some of the cabinet food though, it's getting a bit boring but other than that, I like it.
Erin Hall
We stop in for an Eggs Benedict breaky whenever we're close by. Very nice and always well presented. The coffee is hit & miss but we keep going back so I guess the food makes up for it :)

Birds flying all through the Cafe and our table was dirty. Unavoidable sometimes, sure, but when we asked a waitress to clean the table they mentioned the birds as if it is a regular occurrence. Bird crap on tables is just not hygienic. And the food. Average. I had fish and chips with had a small portion of dry wilted lettuce and was essentially a plate of chips with a few fish nuggets, nowhere near a normal portion of Cafe fish and chips. Others' plates didn't seem very appetising either. Wouldn't recommend

Have been here a few times. Prices and quality of food are very good. Also has a great kids area. Great to pop in when it's raining as it has a great kids area.

Average coffee the three times I have visited but you can't go wrong with their $9.90 corn fritters with smoked salmon or bacon, or the $11.90 eggs benedict special with smoked salmon or bacon. Food has been delivered promptly and always with a smile. Staff are quick to clear tables and very welcoming.
Natalie Hess
The food was average although their coffee was absolutely unbearable, a nice very vanilla flavoured milkshake was delicious.

Went in for a quick coffee after my morning walk in Browns bay.
Coffee is average, not much flavour just milky. Burton's coffee.
Service is ok, I was there just after 8am monday morning. The place seems very un-lively.
$3.5 for small takeaway flat white, quite reasonable, however I would be happy to pay $4 for a good coffee.

I almost don't want to write a review - this place is so good, I don't want to share it!

We go to White Flower most weekends for brunch. I'm a sucker for their Eggs Benedict with Smoked Salmon or Bacon. At $13 a pop it's far cheaper than the $17+ I've paid in Ponsonby, and it comes with spinach included rather than as an optional $4 extra.

We've sampled a fair amount of their brunch menu - the Backpackers and Big Breakfasts are large, well cooked and very filling. I love the hash browns, can't indulge in those too often though. The French Toast is yummy too - bacon, banana, syrup and I believe it's home made bread. The cabinet food is fresh, tasty and well presented - the lolly cake is a hit with kids and adults alike (though it's a big slice, so you may want to share). Their home made tomato relish is delicious.

They make a great coffee, and their coffee art is a hit with the kids (ok, we love it too). We try to get there before 11:30am in the weekends as tables can be in high demand, but we've found we don't usually have to wait longer than a few minutes - not to mention people are consistently polite and will clear out if they see you are waiting. Might be the older demographic that means more manners? ;)

The staff are friendly, accommodating and seem happy - always a good sign. The Lazy Sunday 1 CD is on most weekends, which is a nice throw back to my mid 2000's pre-kid weekend days. With a walk on the beach and a run round the playground for the kids afterwards, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else for my Sunday morning.
