always lovely to come here and get my suishi. The lady at the counter is very accommodating to my allergy to gluten and tells me which ones are gluten or not. Also provides gf friendly soy sauce. Great customer service as well always a smile to see when walking in.

I’ve unfortunately only gotten the opportunity to go here once while I was traveling for work, but i’ll forever be grateful for this experience. Not only is the food amazingly mouth watering but the customer service and atmosphere are incredible. I was going through a very rough time in my life and if it wasn’t for this lovely place I probably wouldn’t be here. Much love❤️

Definitely my favorite sushi in Auckland city. Super fresh and well made and priced fairly. I go here about 3 times a week.

Always fresh and delicious. Generous fillings in all sushi. The Summer Roll is great value for money. The deep fry cabinet is always hot and fresh and crunchy. My favourites are the tofu pockets with salmon/avo or spicy pork, takoyaki (with all the toppings!) and the tuna/mayo roll. Clean, tidy shop, very friendly staff, cute dine-in options inside and out. Always my first choice for Sushi in Browns Bay.

Pretty good selection, liked most of the flavours, but some of the pieces like scallops didn't really have a taste at all. Still though, we'd come here for a quick takeaway if leaving the beach.

Quite a nice sushi shop. After covid lockdown I’ve been to a few sushi places but most of them are not that fresh. The sushi is very fresh, and the taste is good too. Had a plate to dine in and bought a box to takeaway too lol! Recommend the scallop sushi here.

I’ve been to many sushi shop and have to say this is the best place so far. Every sushi is well made with proper flavor. Also, there’re nice staff and relaxing environment here.

Used to buy sushi here for lunch. (You know the feeling of having sushi on the beautiful Browns Bay beach,right? ) My favorite sushi was the sushi with avocado, I used to buy many since it changed six months ago. Heard from friends, Bay sushi has sold to a new owner. Just a bit worried if new guys could make sushi as good as before.

The sushi is very yum and it comes with free soy sauce and the price is reasonable but the shop is a little bit too small also, the service is quite good

The new staff is very nice and it is more tasty than before, the variety has also increased so you have a lot to choose from, a new sushi case has also arrived looking much neater.

This place renovated and reopened as Brownsbay Sushi just a few days ago! <br/>The menu is similar, the new staff are just as friendly, and I have to say that the shop interior is much neater now. They close only on Tuesdays and open during the weekend, so I wouldn't worry about sushi deprivation :p

Food is very good here. Large choice of sushi, including tuna, cooked salmon in sauce. Also you can order bento, very tasty.<br/><br/>Staff is really friendly too.

I go here for lunch far too often - it's consistently amazing. Best sushi in Browns Bay and great variety. The fried chicken (on a skewer or in a donburi) is next level delicious - ask for japanese mayo with it!

Service here is great and they are really friendly and efficient.. personally love their fireball sushi which is like an aburi salmon nigiri. Food quality is excellent.. best sushi shop on the shore.

My partner and I come here every Saturday and sometimes during the week. The owner and staff are always very friendly and recognise us when we come in. The sushi is amazing, always fresh and so many different choices. If they have run out of something they will always make more for you. I recommend this place to anyone that wants an amazing sushi experience :)

Sushi is my favourite lunch whilst I am out &amp; about during the week and visiting clients. I've tried most of the sushi places on the North Shore and whilst Bay Sushi is slightly more expensive it is some of the best made larger pieces &amp; tastiest; always a nice treat. They seem to put out less on show than other places, so what they have is always nice and fresh. Service is very friendly and before 12 or after 1pm means less of a queue, because this place is quite popular.

Great little sushi bar in Browns Bay. I have tried many sushi places on the North Shore and this is one of the best - pick your own sushi, they will also make sushi to order for you. It is always busy so sushi turnover is high and freshly made.

If it's sushi your after then bay Sushi is the place I have been there numerous times, place is always clean, food is kept so neat, friendly staff. It is by far the best Sushi around I only buy my sushi from here and would drive miles if I had to just to have some! I absolutely love the plain pumpkin one, the deep fried chicken teriyaki one, also the pineapple avo and cream cheese one! I can just taste them all now! mmmmmmmmmm SUSHI!

Bay Sushi is the best Sushi on the North Shore. I regularly go for lunch there.<br/><br/>The lady at the counter is so lovely and always friendly. She now knows my order when I go there!<br/><br/>hygiene is excellent and the assortment of beautiful, tasty sushi is great.

By far the best sushi in Browns Bay.<br/>I cannot come here for lunch often enough.<br/><br/>The woman who runs the place is always smiling, cheerful and genuinely happy to be there.<br/><br/>If you are able to make it before the crowd, there's plenty of selection, all of which is equally delicious. The rice is always cooked and seasoned perfectly--never hard, mushy or bland. The nori is equally as good, which unlike most other places tears as you bite into it and has a wonderful toasty flavour.<br/><br/>In the past 6-months my partner and I have had lunch here at least 30-40 times. We've never had a bad experience or been disappointed.<br/><br/>The price is quite reasonable as well. The two of us can fill our trays [~10 pcs ea] and share a drink from the fridge and the bill sits between $25-30.
