Very good service. Very nice fish and chips. I said I just wanted 1 fish and some chips. Only charged me $1.50 instead of $2.40 for scoop of chips. He said full scoop to much for me. But gave me heaps anyway. And gave me 2 fish also. Battered and crumbed same price so had crumbed. Spotlessly clean also. Highly recommend.

This is a true hidden gem of a great fish and chip shop. Very reasonable and such high quality food. Understated from the outside but such a friendly welcome and excellent service inside. Where do you get the freshest gourmet fish burger for 5-$6! Definitely worth a visit!

Best fish and chips in Browns Bay in my humble opinion. The chips are always better than anything we can do at home and in generous portions. Fast service and the staff are always very friendly and welcoming. Parking is easy and a good range of non-fish food which again are always very freshly cooked.

Agree with all the positive feedback. The owner has an issue with not giving you the best deal. The more you buy the more he discounts your order. Great customer service and even better fish and chips

Love the guy who makes stuff for his lively attitude and not to mention the great tasting fish. Perhaps the best place to have fish n chips from when around Brown's bay.

Delicious food and smiley service. The place doesn't look flash from the outside, but it does great fish & chips. Try the battered snapper: amazing!

Service ok hence the star, but very poor food. Snapper was breadcrumbed (not requested) off site I think, very thin and overdone. Chips soggy and flabby.

Comming to back to Beach Road Takeaways after being overseas for a year and finding the same high quality service and delicious food was definately a great experience. Would rate the food a solid 6 stars if i could, but alas, 5 is the max. Recommend to anyone looking for the best fish and chips in the world!

This has to be the best fish n chip takeaway in Browns Bay - he has been on holiday the past 2 months and was missed big time! Such a chirpy chap always cheerful and the food is excellent

Me and my wife are regular viaitors of this shop , Honestly best customer service , <br/>i have to say The crispy chicken Burger is a star attraction , if u plan to buy any burgers from Mc donalda of BK pls dont do it try this shop first <br/>

This is honestly the best fish and chip store I have ever been too! The owners are so lovely, the place is spotless and the portions are great for the price. The fish tastes super fresh and you get to choose whether you want you fish pan fried crumbed or battered! Recommend this place to anyone wanting tasty fish and chips!

These are definitely of the friendliest business owners in Browns Bay. Also helps that the fish is fresh and well prepared. Always give lollies to the kids and lemons at no extra charge.

Everyone seems to mention the crumbed fish and I agree wholeheartedly. It's definitely our favorite fish place in the area. The owners are friendly, accomodating and the portions generous. Its very clean and the oil always seems fresh. We also love the kumara chips. Actually, headed there now!

We just keep coming back here, it's the best fish 'n chips around! The service is outstanding, and we love always being welcomed back like old friends.<br/>We prefer crumbed fish and theirs is light and crispy and their oil never tastes old. The portions are generous and the premises are very nice and clean.

several years back this place was a disgusting council D rated place , the newish owners have the whole place sparkling clean .<br/>As the reviews here mentioned the owners are the most friendliest Asian owners Ive ever had the pleasure of meeting , they have a knack for remembering their customers and I love that , the food is awesome but most of all is the service and cleanliness that keeps us coming back , regards Tracey

Came here for fish and chips once.<br/>The atmosphere is surprisingly clean and tidy.<br/>The fish was fresh and tasty, the batter light and crunchy, and the chips hot and delicious.<br/>You can't really ask for anything more than that!
