Beautiful food and atmosphere, been there twice now and both times awesome! Lovely night out for an intimate dinner for me and my bloke 💕

The food was tasty, the atmosphere relaxed, and the overall experience really enjoyable! A great selection of appetizers and mains The lamb was very nice and well prepared. I would definitely recommend it, the side salad, and the schnitzel pork belly!

What a brilliant place to come after a long week of work. It has a relaxing atmosphere complemented by amazing service A massive thank you to Pavel who made the evening really enjoyable and who actually cares, it is refreshing, good humoured and simply fun. There are endless options in Cambridge, simply something for everyone. BUT Sometimes all you need is a wholesome meal, a friendly chat and a great place to relax.

We had lunch here and the food was amazing, especially the Whittakers Chocolate dessert 😋 Generous serving sizes, vegetarian options and friendly staff. Highly recommend.

It's been a while since our last visit and we have just had the most divine late Sunday afternoon lunch. The "small sharing plates" were full of colour and full of fresh, zesty flavours. Some seriously good dishes on the menu, matched with fab presentation and service. Well done team!

Unexpectedly amazing! Stopped here to grab a meal on a long journey and would have been happy with anything, but this place knocked us out. Quality ingredients superbly cooked and the service was very friendly and efficient. I recommend making a reservation, this place is deservedly popular. The McDonalds style chips were a little incongruous beside such exquisite plates but I enjoyed them anyway.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐My favourite restaurant in Cambridge! The food and service is always so good here. Great for a casual girls lunch or family dinner. Lovely cosy atmosphere when the fire is lit. Highly recommend.

A warm and cozy local bar and kitchen, staff are extremely friendly with a sense of humor. Food quality is superb and worth the price. I ordered the lamp rump and it's cooked perfectly. The restaurant is located perfectly in the quiet corner of a busy street, plenty of on street parking available at the door front.

Near the end of our 9 week visit to NZ from San Francisco (including meals at 2- & 3-hat restaurants such as Cocoro, Hello Beasty, Logan Brown & Onslow), we thought dinner at Alpha Street was one of our best! Thanks to the new owners & chef Nicole. Salt & pepper calamari was equal to our gold standard of Dux in CHCH, & the lamb rump & vegetables (green beans & broccolini) were cooked & plated to perfection. Wine pairings & sticky date pudding were terrific - we hope to be back again on a future visit.

Great service and quality food. I had the best pork belly and my boyfriend loved his fried chicken burger. Their Raglan coffee is also great, such an amazing flavour to it. Atmosphere is great and the place is very clean and well decorated. Highly recommend!

Consistently excellent. Superb food be it from the ‘small bites’ menu or Dinner menu. Superb selections of wine by glass or bottles and great beers on tap and in the fridges. Staff front and back of house are superb every time. An absolute treat if you live in Cambridge or just visiting. Easily our favourite bar in Cambridge and the surrounding area. No competition.

Fantastic!!! Outstanding meal. I’ve eaten all around the world and this is one of the best if not the best meals I have ever had. Incredible bread with flavoured butter and truffle oil followed by out of this world seared tuna with ginger then exquisite eye fillet steak. Go there and be AMAZED!!!

Agreed with a previous post - looks like a pub on the outside, though when you walk in, sit down & eat the amazing food, it’s not a pub at all. Certainly recommend this restaurant.

We had an absolutely beautiful meal on Friday night. Great service and the food was excellent! I would recommend have a meal at Alpha to anyone!

First time here on Valentine's Day! Was pleased to say I was not let down at all. Ive been to a lot of the "nice" restaurants in and around Hamilton and I do have to say your food and service is definitely in the top ranges. Everything was amazing, the food was to die for and the service was impeccable. My partner was throughly impressed! Cheers guys!!

Had the most amazing platter on Friday- that duck pâté and the blue cheese drizzled in honey and thyme - argh too good The tidbits menu is amazing. We had the Karage chicken with miso mayo - Devine!!! Can't wait to try the rest of the spring menus- both lunch and dinner options look absolutely mouth-watering good PS so glad to find somewhere in the Waikato that serves Prosecco

Yet again a faultless meal on Friday night. Great service. It was the first time our kids have been and the meal exceeded their high expectations. They loved the theatre of the chocolate dome for dessert.

We had a 3 course meal. Everything was exquisitely presented and tasted amazing. Excellent and very special place for that special occasion.

If I had to choose one place in Cambridge (or the entire Waikato area) to go to for the rest of my life, it'd be here! Everything- the food, the drinks, the atmosphere, the setting and the service is amazing �
