Review Prince Albert Old English Pub - Cambridge

Passing through the town we spotted this place and really enjoyed it. It's a bit odd walking through a shopping centre to a pub, but the service was very friendly and the food was really good, and we all said that we'd return if we had the opportunity.

Sunday night. Staying for one night. Needed a hot meal. Pub food can't be beat. Roaring fire, glass of red and fish and chips. The F&C was hot and batter was crispy. Chips were good. Salad was good. Not sure about the mushroom sauce. Tartare was just Mayo. Good meal. Very satisfied. The locals should support more.

Amazing function venue! We hired the upstairs room as a 21st venue. After some shuzshing with decorations, it turned out really pretty. The staff were so accommodating and helpful, we got them to put together a grazing table and it was A+. We were able to party the night away and everyone felt very welcome and had a great time.

I enjoy going to the Prince Albert, it reminds me of English pubs of course & my time overseas in the UK. The food is delicious, great atmosphere & the owners really take of you, see you again soon 😀 😋

Enjoyably older character styled pub with a good selection of tap beer including Bodingtons. Lovely warm gas log fire in lounge eating area. Food although good selection is about five dollars more per item compared with other places to eat in Cambridge. A pitty as i would have happily had a calamari dish but not paying over 20
