Review Scott's Cafe - Cambridge

Quality sourdough base made in-house over a 48-72 hour period. The other ingredients are fresh and spectacular! From the superbly sweet tomato sauce covering to really good mozzarella cheese. Definitely 7-8/10. Will be back again soon.

After going to Scott's for brunch a bunch of times and loving it (great food, vegetarian options and kid friendly), we finally tried the pizza now that they're doing delivery. The Detroit-style pizza is seriously delicious. The crispy edges are so good and the toppings are great. We got the Red Top and the Sausage and Shroom, and they were both amazing. The Caesar salad was also great - nice and tangy. Will definitely be getting delivery again very soon!

I'm going to start with the service was incredible, everyone was so fun and thoughtful, I've never laughed so much! I loved that you get a jug of prosecco and the orange juice with bottomless so there was no constant having to order drinks it was very relaxed! Super fresh and cold too! Now my food was amazing, you HAVE to try the pizza!! I'm vegan and I had the artichoke puree base with garlic mushrooms and I'm still dreaming about it today! Thank you so much guys, we will be back!

We actually only found this place as the pub on the other corner was closed for refurb. We went In without any kind of expectations, just a warm drink and some lunch. Well Scott’s did not disappoint. Service was great, the food was so fresh, portions were very good and the price was really reasonable. It was clean and bright, tables not too close together. In fact it was much less than we expected. Happy days. Enjoyed our experience here. Coffee is fab. Locally sourced as well.

Such amazing food! The detroit pizza takes me back to the states! The wings were incredible, and the ceasar salad has to get a special mention! It was so good

Amazing from start to finish. My wife is coeliac and it's rare that GF is catered to so well. We got a starter of crostini with garlic and artichokes, and given that it seemed like the chef just made it up, it was maybe the best GF starter we've ever eaten - please add it to your menu so everyone else can enjoy it as well! The pizza was also great, along with perfect service. We will definitely return

What a stunning place for brunch. Food was divine, really enjoyed their fluffy pancakes and a Lumberjack. Eggs were perfectly cooked, crispy bacon, golden potatoes and herby sausage patty. The service was friendly and efficient and flat white was served at the right temperature, not too hot. I also took away a Brunch pizza which was absolutely delicious, plenty of filling and pizza base was thin and crisp. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone who enjoys brunch and good coffee. Thank you

The pizza is nice. My favourite food is the chips with truffle oil. The mocktails are also very nice.

Good pizza and delicious pancakes. Plenty of people indulging in the bottomless brunch, which does sound like a good deal. The team make a solid effort to use local suppliers for the ingredients on their pizzas, and this is to be commended. The ambiance is buzzing, and the staff are attentive to detail. Definitely worth visiting. (Bonus trivia - they supply food to Calverley's taproom and the Kingston arms, if you can't find a table here)

Good restaurant, not too far from the train station. Place was very busy, but service was pretty fast considering. Had the lumberjack breakfast, which had pancakes, bacon, hash browns, sausage patty and two eggs cooked to your choices. Everything tasted good, but I think my patty was slightly overcooked. The bacon was amazing and almost felt like it shattered as you took bites it was that crispy. Feels like it was reasonably priced and had a relaxed atmosphere.

Update: we went again on 09/10/22, feedbacks were listened, staffs are nice and not stressed anymore, food is great as usual, mimosa is strong. I changed it to 5 stars. Written long time ago: Very busy during brunch time on weekends. We had to wait for everything, menu, water(never came), food whilst listening to 3 people getting demented (it’s good for them to have a wonderful time but absolutely unnecessary to shout out, especially it’s only 1pm on Sunday). Food is great. Staff are great as well, we understand they’re very busy. Strongly recommend to hire more part-time staff during peak hours.

Went for my friend's stag do bottomless brunch which was truly excellent. Quick and friendly service. Great vibe That was back in February 2022 I went back April 2022 and must say I had the best breakfast ever 🙌 their Baba Ghanoush with egg and halloumi was simply sensational 👌

Went on the back of other reviews for their gf menu and we weren't disappointed. We went sat night but they had run out of gf pizza, so we stayed and had cocktails before heading off. But we rebooked for brunch on Sunday. Which was fantastic so glad we tried it. I had the pescatarian and it was lovely. The staff are all very friendly and extremely helpful. Robert made us feel very welcome and was so apologetic for the lack of gf on sat night. It was down to him that we made sure we came back on Sunday. Thank you for a lovely birthday brunch. We will definitely be returning. 👌

Coffee is 99% of the time spot on. A few of my friends also love to come here and it is by far our favourite place in Cambridge for coffee. Food is good too and well priced, mushrooms are nice as is the open egg omlette and Satay Chicken is to die for. Love this place so much they know me on first name basis!

I found this cafe lacking in atmosphere. The coffee was not to my liking, very weak & luke warm. When we complained the attendant was very defensive & said, "well it is a single shot". She very begrudgingly refunded the cost of the coffee. We both had the Savory French Toast, it was average, the French Toast was stodgy & had no lovely caramelized crispiness around the edges. The tables & chairs are those cheap & light aluminium types which move around easily, so when our hot drinks were delivered they spilt over into the saucer. All in all, not a relaxing pleasant experience, we won't return.

This is a lovely little cafe with friendly clean atmosphere.
Cheap food but good quality.
A place where you can buy a large mocha and a cake/ savoury for under $10
I would recommend this cafe if you want a nice place to sit with friends and catch up.
