Best avocado toast of my lifeā¦ seriously. Spiced to perfection and the presentation was unbelievable. Itās not every day you take a picture of toast, but I had to?! Itās a really nice space to relax, as well. I hope to make it back in before I leave town!

Vibrant atmosphere with coffee and food to match! A very cool cafe right by the city centre. Friendly staff. Fast service. Lots of options for drinks and food to suit every taste. Recommend the chai lattes and french toast!

Finally a beautiful, great place for me to enjoy a delicious filter coffe in Christchurch. It took me some time to find C4 but it was worth. Several blends to choose from, a variation of cakes. Eggs Benedict are amazing. What an amazing place to enjoy a very good coffee. And they roast it on site! What else can you ask for?

Iām sure this local favourite doesnāt need more nice things said about it, but if you havenāt been yet then you need to fix this.
Maybe itās because this is the first meal after we arrived in Christchurch, but by god C4 served us the most awesome coffee vibes Iāve ever felt. And the food was top notch.
The coffee here is excellent, like really good. And they roast their own stuff with plenty of variety on site for you to chose from.
But whatās the most amazing is probably how happy everyone is here, and that is important, because coffee should make you happy, and if this doesnāt do it for you, Iām not sure what will.

Awesome atmosphere and excellent coffee. I received a warm welcome and big smile as soon as I walked in. A lot of coffee making equipment here. So far this is the best cafe I have been to. In addition, the table in front of the roastery is amazing.

First time eating here, and it's the closest cafe to my home. Just didn't see it. I was looking for a cafe that could meet my daily breakfast order of scrambled eggs not over cooked. And that's what I got. Perfect scrambled eggs on beautifully buttered Sourdough. Perfect
The coffee was fine, however they have about a billion blends I need to try over the next year

Wow. Where do I start. Stumbled across this place accidentally. Massive setup with a bee bar, retail section, roaster and even professional home coffee machines. Variety of coffee on offer here are plentiful, V60, aeropress, filter, batch and the rest. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Plenty of coffee equipment for on offer here that would cater for all needs. Hands down the best coffees Iāve had in New Zealand. Thanks guys.

A Christchurch icon, but I was underwhelmed by the lack of vegan options on the menu.
We went here mostly for the coffee, which is good with a big selection of single origins and a variety of filter and espresso brew options. My v60 was great.
Minimal vegan options on the menu was disappointing though, I had a smashed avo minus the egg, which was ok.

Nice atmosphere, great decor and food and felt welcoming. Was excited to try the place and the coffee.
Strangely when my coffee was handed to me they told me it was hard to make it with soy milk. Unfortunately the texture and taste of the milk was really bad so I mentioned it to another of the staff. He suggested I just wasnāt used to the flavour of the coffee at C4, when I explained it was the milk he told me thatās just what soy milk is like. Obviously this is untrue. In the end I was given a replacement but I was a bit confused by the whole interaction. Maybe staff training is needed, or changing the brand of soy milk.

One of my favourite Coffee shops. Love the setup, love the coffee. I purchase my beans from here as you can see them roasting the beans. Highly recommended.

Every time I go to christchurch we go to this awesome cafe. Food is great, drinks are great. The only reason I am not giving it a 5.0 is because it is so popular it can be loud and sometimes you can't get a seat.

Best coffee 'in the world!'. <br/><br/>Ginger slices have a tasty tang. <br/><br/>Don't do lunch, but will toast you a bagel. <br/><br/>Fascinating location, from sack to bean to roast to cup... all under the same roof.<br/><br/>Knowledgeable staff and great coffee memorabilia.<br/><br/>I wish they would open on Saturday again (hint, hint!).
