Bunsen - Christchurch - Photo album

Tasty nachos and loved the fact that Bunsen has a vegan option for these! Cute location outside the arts Center. Also very funky toilets, can you figure out how to work the sink?!
All rounder lovely place to eat and be social, there was also a well-behaved dog, as a customer pet visiting on a lead 🐕 Staff were nice. It was very busy so it was a little loud. Our family had avocado toast, spicy beef nachos, pancakes, fries, and the frittatas yummy 😋
It wasn't loud, they were accommodating of my booking and the food was great. Perfect cafe for me! I'll sure be back.
Friendly staff, well made coffee, and good menu. Eggs Benedict is my favourite brunch, sitting outdoors with a good book. Thoroughly recommend this cafe,
Delicious, nice and hot coffee. However, just one remark- the cappuccino did not have enough froth (although a beautiful latte art shown) and please put a lot more chocolate on top 😉. The french toast with berries and the lemon tart were divine.
Great cafe with a lot of seats. Nice and warm inside when it's a bit cold out. Staff are friendly, food is good. Looks nice but isn't too over the top either.
Actually really loved this cafe. The food was amazing and the coffee good as well. Very popular little place with options to dine outside, inside or upstairs
Perfect place ever in my life. Beautiful. Food,Staff, mood and location everything fantastic. I love Vegi, vegan menu and Juice also fresh and tasty. Amazingly recommendable.
Fantastic science themed restaraunt for quality food and great restoration of the Victorian architecture of the former University of Canterbury. The food was delicious and perfectly cooked and the staff were lovely! The only issue is the considerably slow service and efficiency of the staff. We had
Must go for breakkie, this is where the local meets and with all the handsome dogs too. I have spotted 5 dogs in a setting! You hear piano play from the music school on the background from time to time as well. Good food at last.
Relaxing upstairs / downstairs/ outdoor dining available. Coffee was great. Service efficient & friendly.
Bunsen has a great looking menu however I decided to eat from the cabinet as the quiché was speaking to me. Whilst it wasn’t overly filling it was still tasty and had a nice wee side salad. The orange juice I had with it was also very fresh and tasted home made. Looked like a popular place to go for
Lovely place ,had the most delicious salad there and green tea
One of my favourite cafes in NZ! Lunch in an Oxbridge reading room yes please! Yummy food, friendly fun staff. Cosy nooks and an upstairs. Great architecture. I would go here allll the time if I lived in Christchurch. Thanks for a great lunch!
