Great place! I've been here a number of times and can safely say that I've tried this on several occasions. My favourite order is the wings. The staff are always friendly and if something were to go wrong then they can work it out and no worries. Highly recommend and I make sure to visit whenever I am in Christchurch.

Delicious, tender and crispy chicken!! I the person who served me to be so super kind and friendly and made my day better with her lovely Smile. I enjoyed sitting outside with my cold Beer and Meal - the potatoes are so good and with Maple Syrup and Chicken you can't go wrong.

Chicken was beautifully cooked, very moist meat and crispy batter. Tasty chickenburger. Fried potato bites were delicious. Very creamy and tasty Strawberry milkshake. Seats could do with recovering

The fried chicken was really flavoursome! Quite yummy. There was too much maple syrup imo so the thin waffles were drenched in the sweet sauce

Empire Chicken have absolutely earned their bragging rights for the finest fried chicken in town. Every time, whether we eat in or takeout, the food is always incredible as is the customer service (fast and friendly). I've never had chicken so juicy! Sometimes it's hard to choose what to eat. The burger buns are so soft and the coleslaw is tasty but the classic snack box with chicken pieces and crispy potato chunks is mouth-watering too. Even the deep-fried cauliflower is better than any I've had! Long story short get anything on the menu and you won't be disappointed. Oh and bonus points of course for using biopack/sustainable packaging, we love to see it.

I ordered online the first time I try Empire Chicken. It was so delicious that I was more than happy to try it a second time in the restaurant. Amazing crispy, juicy and very well seasoned chicken. The sides were also great, I really like the dressing and the ingredients of the coleslaw, and the potato chunks were super crispy.

Yussss!! My favourite chicken burgers in Christchurch are most definitely at Empire Chicken. I generally order on Bread delivery, but can't wait for them to open up in the new Riverside Markets!! Their spiced maple syrup is delicious with the crispy potatoes, and my fav is the chicken burger with cheese. Keep up the great work!!!

Loved the staff they were friendly and helpful chicken was awesome my only complaint if we could call it that was the bun was quite soft and almost felt wet but otherwise really delicious

Very good burger! I ordered the blue, fresh fired chicken burger, which worked very well with the blue cheese sauce. The brioche bun was super soft, if they warm the bun before serving, it would have been perfect.
