Great traditional bakery cafe in Christchurch. Probably one of the best too with plenty of food options. Great coffee with home made cookies on the side. Would be nice the get a smile from the boss and the workers more often. Maybe the business is too busy, taking away the fun of running it 😜 stay h
Flat white was delicious, latte and baked goods were good as well~

Was a lovely lunch we had cheesecake and some coffees and smoothies. The banana smoothie was not my favourite, which bought it down a bit. There was a busy atmosphere which I would say was a good sign as it seems to be quite popular
First of all absolutely delicious! I am a pie lover and can well and truly say the Steak and Cheese pie I had was in my top 3! Melt in your mouth pastry and tender steak with a perfect amount of cheese. Delicious, will be back.
Last of all great friendly service, perfect Saturday lunch.
Definitely recommend this bakery for decent savourys. Chicken Brie and cranberry pie is absolutely amazing. Sausage roll is amazing too and the size. Definitely worth every dollar!!

Ordered food for a 90th birthday celebration and then had to change to a day earlier at the last minute. They could not have been more accommodating and the food was excellent - helped make it a perfect family day.
I had a chocolate gateau made for my husband's 80th birthday last weekend. Not only was the cake beautifully baked and decorated but it was absolutely delicious! Thankyou Bakermans for your fabulous service. So many of our guests last Sunday asked where this cake came from. I recommend others to use

Bakermens is one of the best bakeries / cafes in Christchurch, no question about it. Friendly and very efficient staff and patient as it is often busy. I would recommend the chicken croquettes, they often sell out.

A lot of selection of food. Really nice. We went here 5 days out of 6 for either lunch or morning tea.
Went into get a couple things came out with heaps and everything was beautiful to the croquettes chicken of course to fruit tarts to the steak pis I'll definitely be back ammmazing.
Very good food! Chicken croquets fabulous. Very busy and loud inside. Outdoor seating. Clean and bright surroundings. Carpark belongs to all shops. Depending on time car parks available. Good toilets.
Would have to say this is the best steak and cheese pie i have ever had, I’m from Aussie and this is the best bakery in Christchurch. Bloody beautiful pie mate 👌
Our favourite cafe in town. So many things to choose from their cabinets and also nice coffee as well.
