Lovely little restaurant with incredibly flavourful food 😍 I came here with my wife to quench a craving for Thai food last week. We were very satisfied with our meals! Reasonably priced dinner with good portion sizes! Thanks so much for the great food! ☺ I'll be back again soon for more of the lemongrass and Basil stir-fry 🤤

Chicken Hokkien noodles with Thai chilli Lemongrass and basil👌the best. The flavor is awesome. Thank you to the owners who were always welcoming and gracious. My favourite Thai eatery whenever I'm in Christchurch. The best Thai food. The quality of the food was amazing! The portion sizes are very much worth what you pay! Food tasted so good, every single dish was tasty we got green curry, pad Thai, pad see eiw, deep friend spring rolls and vege fried rice! Phenomenal! Highly recommend. Food was hot! I will be back again! This is my new go-to eaterie

My partner wanted to try this place after going home form the movies. I didn't have too much interest because it looked empty. Well, I can tell you that my hesitation was definitely wrong. The staff were so polite and the food was absolutely delicious. We have been there quite a few times now and the food quality has always remained consistent. Pad see ew, pad thai and the chciken cashew stir fry are the meals that I have tried, which have been saucy and so full of flavour. This place deserves alot more recognition because it is fantastic!

We always enjoyed to come here. Whenever go restaurant, They greeted us lovingly. We ate their food and could get a rest. We always felt full and satisfied. Now we are leaving chch, maybe we can't eat their food anymore in our life. But we will never forget the happy memoryies in here. Thank you.

The absolute best place in the whole of Christchurch to get noodles. The owners are kind, amazing customer service and the food is excellent quality. My personal recommendation is the Hokkien Noodles with Chinese Oyster and Soy Sauce (if you order it with mayo on top, even better). Definitely recommend!!!

Thank you for a marvelous meal in which we had for dinner tonight. My husband and kids were very impressed with the meal. Lovely chicken Pad Thai and Chicken Basil was great. My 6 year old loved his chicken noodles - usually quite fussy. Would definitely go back any time!

This place went above and beyond our expectations. We decided to eat in and we're served with a complimentary starter of some spring rolls. They give table service and we were offered water right away. The woman who served us was really personable and friendly. My partner had the panang and I had hoiken noodles with lemon grass and basil, they were absolutely delicious! They offer a range of drinks, including wine. Don't let the lack of customers in there fool you, this is definitely a place to stop in and have a meal. Thanks so much, we will be back again.

Absolutely love this place. Nice and relaxed vibe with great friendly service. My friends and I love this place. A Roti and a Red curry, beautiful. They do a great massaman curry as well. Great selection of beverages if you’re looking to get a bit out of hand.

I love this restaurant. Chilli Kiwi has a good food, generous portions and an excellent price. Sometimes, one portion is enough for two. The place is casual and has a friendly staff. It's possible to dine in or takeaway. For me, it's the best takeaway in Christchurch.

We dine out at Chilli Kiwi when budget allows and found they are fabulously delicious and really cheap for the price, Food is TOPS, AAA+ The staff are very welcoming warm and always have a smile. Well done Chilli Kiwi we will continue to dine their we have never waited more than 5 mins, service and food is amazing! :)

First time getting takeaway from chilli kiwi. Very disappointed. We have eaten a lot of Thai, even been to Thailand, and this is by far the worst. The entree's were all clearly pre cooked, and either oily or dry. The pad Thai had hardly any flavour, and tofu? I have never had tofu put in my pad Thai. My partner wanted the avocado, sesame and mayonnaise sauce on his noodles - expecting a fresh tasty dish, it was noodles with a bit of mayonnaise on them and overcooked meat. Despite reasonable pricing, I still feel ripped off. Would not recommend.

Time to give this place some feed back. We have been dinning here about 2 times a month since 2011 we have never had any problems. The staff are all was friendly and go the extra steep. The food is so nice and well presented and you get real value for money. We eat a lot of Tai and so far this place tops them all. Thumbs up to you guys.

This place is horrible! The green curry was all gluggy and so was the chicken fried rice which was like porridge, this place doesn't even deserve one star it's that bad, $24 for duck food and even they barely touched it I recommend the Thai shop across the road, staff were friendly but the food was disgusting.

Cant believe that person waited forty five minutes,,,I have always been served inside 5 minutes....staff are excellent and is probably one of the cheapest thai places in christchurch...

This used to be a great place for our family, but now they don't do a kids box and the big box is too big for younger kids... their beef satay use to be really good but have now found the beef tough like old gumboots and the satay very poor - in a year it has changed so much and I am gutted

A couple of things. Firstly, overpriced. Secondly, Thai is not Chinese, it shouldn't be served in a box. Third, very bland, westernised, MSG filled food." I live locally and have only eaten here when the alternative across the road is not open, each time thinking "nah its not that bad" then regretting my decision after I have eaten. Good service though.

Yummy food! Disagree with the negative comments on this review. I have been here many times and the takeaway meal always comes quick! Love that it's packaged in a box. You can get a great range of rice or noodle's with any sauce! Great fun picking and mixing!

I love Thai food, but not when it's been westernised, I ordered 3 dishes, a chicken green curry, a spicy chicken with lemongrass mild and beef penang. i should have asked for NO MSG, the green curry was actually OK, the beef penang was a disaster the beef had been overcooked and was chewy as and filled with MSG and the spicy chicken lemongrass was a tiny portion and way too hot, when i mentioned it to the owner of the shop they went crazy and told me never to come back, parking is a logistical nightmare as its right beside kfc and subway, the wait time for a takeway bar was way too long, i waited 45 mins and i was the only person there now I know why, I won't be back ever

Great food, excellent service and always a warm welcome...what's not to like. All the time we have been coming here the food quality and presentation is always consistent. My partner has her favourite (Japanese Teriyaki with sesame seeds) and I like to switch and change but can't go past an excellent green curry. The starters are superb, especially the satay chicken kebabs and spring rolls but be warned the mains are large so leave some room. There is something for everyone, even kids sizes so whatever you like for Thai you shouldn't go past Chillikiwi.. it's awesome!!
