Quality food with the taste of a little unique Maori flavor with nice decoration. Reasonable large quantity food, money for value choice. Warm service provided by the waitress. Enjoy the contemporary Maori atmosphere in the restaurant.
Beautiful food. Was expecting a little more traditional Maori flavours and cuisine. Still lovely though. Dessert was awesome. The service was amazing and the space is lovely, maybe a little chilly.
Maori fusion food! That's really rare. The lamb ribs super good with a smokey hangi flavour. The flounder is a whole fish! The sauce that came with the steak was flavorful. Minor gripe is the coleslaw they serve with the dishes. It makes a creative tasty dish look cheap. Big portion too, especially
Popped in for a drink and dessert this evening and it was delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was great. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu!
Nice place, we really enjoyed the hangi chicken and the salt and pepper squid. Staff were great to, thanks!
Love this venue! Found this gem a week ago and was suprised that they did lunch. Went in and the sliders were so yum. The squid was absolutely brilliant! Will be back here soon enough.
Staff was very nice and the food was fantastic. We really enjoyed the kumara bites, ribs, and fish and chips. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted great. Cocktails and mocktails were tasty as well! The atmosphere is pretty dark for daytime dining, but it's probably perfect for their night even
Came here to watch the rugby north vs south great atmosphere wish we dined in while we were here but had drinks instead and enjoyed our time and the service here thanks guys we will definatley be back to dine in next time thanks for the great service and making us feel welcomed
Great cosy spot in central city. Friendly staff, good food. Loved the Maori art on the walls and music playing. Would have loved to have seen more traditionally Maori dishes on menu.
Good service! Wonderful and special food. Definitely recommended.
Met a friend with her primary child too, we had an early dinner (5pm) on a Saturday. The staff were lovely, very courteous and considerate. They gave the kids things to occupy them. The food was delightful. The appetizers were pork and watercress balls 😍My friend ordered the seafood platter ... and
The food was absolutely amazing, big thumbs up. Great staff, helpful and friendly, we asked a lot of questions and they answered everything. They also have some awesome art, and it is for sale, so we left with a full stomach and 2 pieces of art. Thank you team, for a wonderful evening, and we will d
Nice selection of kiwi inspired dishes but nothing that really appealed to me
Beautiful food, loved the patiki and squid rings. Steam pudding was delish too. Nice portion sizes and lovely service. Would visit again, liked the Māori infusion style food, everything we ate tasted great 😊😊
We bought a Grab one voucher for a platter and two drinks for $34. What a bargain. The platter was for two. But wow. It was plentiful. And beautifully presented. The ribs, the pork belly, and the fry bread were excellent. We ordered a side of squid. I'm a squid connoisseur and they were deliciou
Very tasty food and great service. Listening to Māori and Kiwi music. We'll be back for sure. Portion size might be a hit and miss so make sure you order the fry bread as well to fill you up.
