Had the momo and pork belly dish, both were full of flavour. The pork belly dish was unique and memorable, the rice was a bit over cooked but overall was a good meal.

The restaurant is inside the historic British hotel on the corner. Entry is from the main road so a little confusing as it is not signed ... if not a local like me. Great atmosphere not too noisy. We had fun reading the handwriting on the menu. Staff helpful on selections and made sure we had enough
Loop musician was the highlight on the Sat night I attended. If there was no food or drinks, I would consider going for that alone. Off the charts good. Thay said, it is exactly what you would expect for where and what it is. Staff and food did not disappoint. Would definitely go back and recommend

Stopped in last night for mother's birthday. Not my usual go to style. However was very impressed. Food was top notch and reasonably priced. Waiter was very friendly and professional. Very chill atmosphere with live band. Would definitely go back. Also open till midnight which is handy! Great to see

Wonderful food in the old Lyttelton institution, the commoners bar at the British. Came on a Thursday night to see some music, and the food was tasty, service sparkling and atmosphere cosy and comfortable. Just a nice place to be.
