Don’t miss this place down in the main wee shopping area. It is a hole in the wall basically with the most incredible bakery and a small counter and wonderful staff. Where can I start eh? The coffee and drinks are wonderful and the breads and croissants are exceptional especially the seeded sour dough and then there is all sorts of delicious French pastries and cakes and then savoury goodies like amazingly different flavours of sausage rolls and pies. I can recommend the chicken and leek and mushroom pie and my husband loves the beef cheek one! Honestly you will not be disappointed here as you get quality products for your coin.

It's essentially become part of the Friday dog walking ritual now, that on our way to the beach we swing by bohemian to grab a croissant and a coffee for breakfast. And you definitely can not beat them on croissants.

One of the best bakery in New Zealand. They make quality bread and croissant plus they have a different range of pastries to choose from. They also have kind of pizza and the baker is def European. Prices are a bit high but it is worth it

My kids enjoyed the cinnamon bun and pain au chocolat.
Everyone we were with enjoyed their coffees. Perfect spot to pick up something yummy and go for a wander down the beach.

Best bakery in New Zealand! Their croissants (and even vegan versions) are on par with the ones I’ve had in France. Their French style sourdough breads and pastries are all delicious. Sandwiches are tasty too. Everything here is great.

Ahhh Bohemian Bakery....<3 The first place in the world where I found a vegan chocolate croissant, which actually is more delicious than ANY chocolate croissant I’ve ever had. Period. Only problem is that I eat these like everyday because it is just so darn good.. Also all the bread they make is perfect. Everything is freshly baked in the morning. Go grab your fresh pastries in the morning and a cup of coffee.

The best bakery in Christchurch. It's worth travelling out from town. My faves are the beef and fennel sausage roll, the best almond croissants in Christchurch and all the breads! The Portuguese tarts are yummy too and the ginger cookies.
