Micky Finns Irish Pub - Christchurch - Photo album

Great gig venue. Cool atmosphere, with some decent drink deals too. Had a great night.
Decided to walk up the stairs and check out this place as Rockpool didn't answer their phone and when we attended they were booked out. ...and happy about that. The Micky Finn's staff were really nice, offered any table to choose from and were quick to seat us. A minute or so to check the menu, the
Try to avoid Irish Pubs as I not fond of Guinness. Tonight changed all of that . Waitress suggested I try theirs. 100% . Food was awesome , wish I lived in this city so I could come here weekly. We will be back , possible tomorrow 🤣 thank you to all the staff ✔️✔️✔️
Absolutely loved it. Food was great, service was wonderful and energetic. We didn't know what we wanted to drink and the guy at the bar was really excited to make us some custom drinks. Drinks were amazing. Service was quick and the atmosphere is great
Really great place which is often overshadowed by the Rockpool downstairs. The grub is absolutely divine and the service was exceptional. For good hearty homely tucker you'll truly leave satisfied. If you love your cue sports, you'll also be in heaven.
The best bangers and mash I’ve ever had, great atmosphere, amazing staff.
Micky Finn's is located above Rockpool and is a terrific venue if you are looking to rock out to some great tunes and have a great night. Their sound guy Jack is does a brilliant job mixing the bands and the staff were awesome and treated us really well! Looking forward to playing there again!
Friendly pub, and the Massaman Lamb Shank was extraordinary. Brilliant (if initially mind-boggling) combination of Irish and Thai recipes. They also were very knowledgeable about GF, for our celiac diner.
Spacious ,hood atmosphere and very friendly staff. There are 7 pool table too. Live band on weekends. Very high quality food is available.
Great atmosphere even on a quiet week day. Staff are fantastic, brilliant service. I had a Salmon pizza, I thought it was equal to the best pizzas I've eaten. My wife had a smoked fish pie and was equally impressed. Great range of drinks on tap as well as everything you could desire in bottles and
Pity it was so quiet, but food was delicious (I had the belly pork) and the guy serving was very friendly and chatty
Had the loaded hog pizza & espresso martini- yum. Will be going back to try more if the menu
Great fun! But beer not so cheap. Sound for live music was great.
Really a 5 star place and the Food was Excellent too. Every time we come to Chch from Akl, We chill on the couch infront of the Fire place and listen to the great music with some drinks and dinner.
Bit quiet as it was a Monday evening but the food was excellent and unexpected. We had lamb shank which was in a massaman curry, and beef cheek in curry sauce. If we were here longer we definitely would return as it was excellent.
