The lady who served us was amazing! She was very friendly and super fast with getting our food for everyone. We didn’t expect so many chips in the bowl of fries! I’d recommend ordering a side of fries if you can’t eat many. I do wish they would make iced mocha’s, i find it odd for a cafe to not have them on the menu. Good food options in the cabinet. The panini had the egg on one side and half a has brown on the other, so you have to rearrange it a bit to eat all the fillings together. It can get busy on the weekends so it can be hard to get a seat inside. They provide lots of outdoor seating though!

Best eggs Benedict and my connoisseur baked bean husband has even confessed best baked beans on his big breakfast. After dining there we ate it so fast we had to come back to see if it was as good as the first time and I managed to take photos first before enjoying another taste bud melting moment. I gave the atmosphere 5 star as it is a mall cafe and it can only be so moody and peaceful. Sighhhhhh I feel so content now.

Good cafe and probably one of the best in the Hub shopping mall. It will be even better if it had some vegan friendly food options. Almost nothing vegetarian/ vegan to chose from. I don’t know what is about this country that everything has to be around eggs and dairy, but Robert Harris is a chain with locations over town/ South Island so try for corporate to wake up and follow trends in the rest of the world. Coffee is quite good at least there are alternative milk options to chose, service is also very professional and friendly. If you are yea lover there is a selection of few options and it’s a real tea! Must try! Place is order yourself but they bring to your table. It Can get very crowded lunch time but there are some outdoor seats. Overall much better alternative than American cafe on the other side and first choice for coffee / tea in Hub.

Lovely friendly staff. Great choices of different foods. Some GF and keto. Everything looked well presented and our choices were delicious. Coffee and hot chocolate tasted wonderful and staff were very helpful and friendly. I would go back for the service alone.

There are varieties of cooked food in the window, I ordered chicken cheese cranberries bagel, the first bite was very tasty, but it’s a little bit cloying as there are too much cream cheese.

It seemed that the staff on today were struggling with demand. It was Pink Ribbon Day, so perhaps there was a greater volume of customers than usual. The cafe itself was well set-up and the special decorations for Pink Ribbon Day were lovely. However, it took a long time for our (admittedly large) breakfast group to have our drinks orders taken and then for drinks to be delivered. Our breakfast order also took a long time to be taken, was inaccurately recorded and there were a number of errors in the meals delivered. Although those were rectified by the kitchen, it cut into our available dining time and we were quite pressed to eat and then get to our work training on time. Time management and effective communication seemed to be significant issues. I went back later in the day to order a takeaway coffee, giving the team the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately, I left unfulfilled. My order was not made and by the time the staff checked what I was waiting for, I no longer had time available to wait (again) for my order. That was a shame, because I'd enjoyed my coffee earlier in the day! The food we had was ok, but the overall service experience could do with some work (unless this simply represented an off day for the crew).
Summer
Went in have a catchup with friends, nice coffee, and the summer smoothie is super yum even the weather is a bit chill, The environment is nice and comfortable . Lunch price is not expensive very reasonable and very yummy . Staff are lovely, will come again

Went to Robert Harris Hornby after viewing their menu on line. <br/><br/>I was disappointed to find that they id not offer the Pancakes as listed on their menu.<br/><br/>I particularly wanted the Fruit Pancake Stack, but once in the Cafe the menu was limited and the choice was severely limited. I ended up just having a cheese scone to my disappointment as I had chosen this branch for its menu alone.<br/><br/>I do understand and noted that this menu can change before the the website can be updated, but it is now less than half of that listed on the website.<br/><br/>Disappointed.<br/><br/>One good thing was that the young lady who served us was most pleasant and understanding. Without her, the experience would have rendered a complaint there and then!<br/><br/>Thanks.

Went for lunch , not overly impressed, tables were dirty and not cleared away, had to clean own table, ordered toasted melted cheese, ham and tomato sandwich, my friend ordered one too, her one came out all good, mine came out looked like a panini, told the waitress , she looked blankly, she didn't know what the food was, we asked her to check, she shrugged her shoulders and said she only delivers the food, but she took it back, came back and said it was right, well it was cold, cheese not melted and not good. Not enjoyable to eat, I wish cafés could get their food right, very disappointing<br/>
