Came here for lunch and waited literally only 5 minutes for Chicken Loaded Fries with gravy and an absolutely delectable chicken and gravy toasted sandwich (I'll ask for cheese next time if possible 🧀 🤤). Great spot of course being inside Riverside Market's food courts.

Ive had a love affair with their chicken sandwich! It's like the sandwich was made for me. The crispy chicken, the soft bun, the tangy sauce...it's a match made in sandwich heaven! Would totally recommend to anyone!

First time trying the junky ramen! I have been curious of this ramen because it is soupless, with egg (by the way I added extra egg in my order), and with kimchi. I have made my expectation low so not to be disappointed but was surprised! The taste blended and matches… it is a junky ( my own definition of junky! Lol! ) would definitely order it again in the future.

Loved the Tonkotsu Ramen! Felt like it had a great mix of flavours and great consistency but the spicy ramen might have lost the mix of flavours behind the spice flavours. Otherwise the popcorn chicken was great and the dumplings aswell! Would definitely recommend the Tonkutso any day 🔥

Best Tonkotsu ramen I've ever had!
So flavourful I've been trying Tonkotsu everywhere I go just for one that tastes similar, but nothing has compared.
(Can you freeze it and send it to Whangarei? 😄) My partner also had the meal for one and everything was really nice, meat nice and soft, potatoes have a nice crisp on the skin. Absolutely beautiful kai, great service and beautiful atmosphere.

Got myself a Tonkotsu, and it was absolutely delicious. The pork based broth was light and delightful, while the pork belly and braised pork was delicious. Big tasty hearty portions, good value. Thanks!

Better than expected, the noodle is spot on Al dente, egg is great; although the broth isn’t rich enough and too salty for my personal liking, it’s very flavorful and aromatic, which is surprisingly nice. The pork in tender and nicely torched, but completely lacked any flavor, as if it was just cooked with plain water. Overall this bowl of noodle is definitely worth the price and worth a try in my opinion.

As I approached Cluck Cluck Slurp I was a little nervous. I was nervous that they had a massive queue, I was nervous on the wait, and I was nervous if it would live up to my high expectations. As I ordered I seen the other orders flying out. Shortly after ordering mine came out so considering how busy they were it was really fast. As for living up to my expectations it did that and more. Beautiful broth, perfectly cooked pork and a balance of flavours that meant together my mouth was salivating with every bite yet I could taste every individual ingredient. Simple food with quality ingredients is always good but this was also complex at the same time. Well done for bringing such awesome food to the city and making my Saturday lunch a meal to remember. I will be back!!!

I had the Sumo Ramen, the photo doesn't do it justice as I had already been mixing it up when I decided to take the picture. I don't usually like kimchi but I did like their's. It was served beautifully, the pork and noodles were delicious. Only took 6 minutes to prepare. I'm not sure what would have taken it to 5 stars for me but I certainly am looking forward to trying new flavours.

We got this from menulog for lunch a few days ago. The tonkotsu ramen was very good! Very flavorful and especially enjoyed the egg. My partner loved the chicken sandwich. Also I liked your sticker so much I put it on the fridge 😅

Well, 1st you have to make the choice: are you into the chicken (cluck cluck) or the ramen (slurp!)? We went for the ramen on this cool chch day, and it was excellent! Layers of flavor, very filling, and lots of interesting bits to keep you coming back for more. Service is pretty fast and friendly, but they could use deeper ramen spoons - the cheap plastic ones do not deliver much soup easily, and spill a lot, and overall the ramen is quite salty compared with the (excellent) competition nearby. Still, a great place for a warming and tasty lunch!
