Review Olivers Restaurant - Clyde

This excellent restaurant is located on the main street of Clyde. The historically themed setting has been beautifully restored and has both indoor and outdoor areas. The food, presentation and service was excellent. High quality all round. Definitely recommend to all fans of fine dining.

Cannot recommend highly enough. This place is awesome! Huge rooms, nice bathrooms, beautiful gardens, fantastic breakfasts, welcoming hosts. I wouldn't stay anywhere else! See you again soon

Awesome outside seating area. Ordered the smokey pulled pork shoulder burger and it was delicious. Great place to stop for lunch after riding the Dunstan Cycle Trail.

This is a restaurant located in an old Victorian building, therefore it comes with all the old school charm. The ambience and layout is classy but not too over the top. Good - We ordered tha lamb rump and pork belly for dinner. The meals were promptly prepared and served. The pork belly was nicely cooked with very crunchy skin. The lamb rump portions were generous but the texture of the meat in the mouth was different from most lamb we have had. Service - the service was nice and efficient, starting from the nice young man at the bar to the wait staff.

Food was excellent but expect high end Auckland prices on the food. Service was okay but we did go when they were packed out. Booking ahead seems to be essential. Nice ambiance and not too loud which was good.

Beautiful building and garden. It was fully booked so we just tried their house brew, excellent! Will book and eat next time.

Service was wonderful. Our waitress was knowledgeable about the menu, great rapport with customers. Food very very good. Two entrees so we could have dessert and very happy to doggy box the left over cheese. Bar staff helpful and made a very good Cardrona gin. Very good wine list. Thank you everyone. We'll be back

Of you want to dive into Victorian times, feel the vibe of the New Zealand gold rush and be accompanied by great food and beer look to further. This Boutique venue offsets all that and the test!

Really great service and wonderful interior. We got here just as they were closing down the restaurant to prep for dinner service. It was very busy but totally well run. Enjoyed the papardelle pasta, sausage roll, and breakfast (so flavorful!) We really enjoyed the pasta since it was freshly made and had numerous pieces of sun dried tomato. The hashbrowns were particularly crispy (our favorite!) Wonderful stop on a road trip. The stone buildings and historic feel of the town was definitely on display. Would be a great filming destination, methinks! All the woggles (our pet names for kids!) were also clearly having a great time with their families. Excited to come back and enjoy dessert next time.

This is a very pleasant place to eat on a summers day out the back in the shade Service and the meal were both good. Also their on site brewed lager is pretty good on a hot day. Definitely recommend

Simply delicious food and wonderful attentive service by Oliver's staff. A fantastic dining experience at the conclusion of our Otago Rail Trail adventure. A must if you're passing through Clyde. Highly recommended.

Simply amazing food here, impressive for a small country town to have such a great chef preparing great food with a lot of technique.
