Very fresh local seafood direct! You can buy fresh oysters and eat them there and actually see the oyster farm in the bay! The battered oysters where the best I've eaten, large, fat with a crisp very delicious batter. Will never drive past this place again without stopping!

Really good venue to grab lunch on the road to upper Coromandel. Fresh as you can get Coromandel Oysters and wonderful squid rings and Paua fritters.

Tasty fresh seafood fried crispy. Their prawns were especially good. Soothed my craving for fish and chips

These guys are serious about their oysters. Fuss free self service spot. The hot sauce goes well with the fresh oysters. It’s really hot. The battered oysters are mind blowing, still juicy and just the right amount of salt. You owe it to yourself to visit if you like oysters.

Pulled in on the way to Coromandel, so glad I did! Beautiful battered fish & I took some chowder for later. Just delicious 😋 Definitely going back for lunch before I leave town!

Think we have discovered a new tradition! I knew the smoked mussels were amazing, but we got fish and chips this time and they were the BEST I have had in a long time! Fresh fish, crunchy thin batter, and the loveliest seating area. I’ll be back again… and again… and again!

Great seating options if u want to eat I'm, or more like out but covered, beautiful views from most areas, a toilet and the oysters were yummy, had the fresh and then some deep fried , I enjoyed both but would recommend the deep fried , the service was fast and overall its a good spot to stop in when going past. Prices were a Little high but what isn't theses days , there is also other food options , like burgers and fries etc , can't wait to go back !

Super fresh seafood. Oysters only $20 dozen either in half shell or pottle. Takeaways can be eaten in fantastic outdoor areas overlooking stunning view of estuary. Loads of parking & friendly staff. Most do when in Coromandel town.

Helen and I had another wonderful meal here yesterday, well worth the drive over from Thames every few weeks. Everything about the COC is great, from the courteous smiling staff to the wonderful fresh perfectly cooked food. Absolutely the best seafood on the peninsula. We highly recommend that you check it out.

Lovely stop for lunch. Big seating area with fab outlook and great food. We recommend the battered oysters… yum! And don’t forget to buy some super-fresh mussels and oysters to take home.

This is a food gem in Coromandel! 1 cup of seafood chowder is never enough! 1 dozen oysters is never enough! (We ended up with 4 cups & 3 dozens on the same day!)👍👍👍 You gonna keep this food gem going forever for future visitors to Coromandel!🤗

I ordered the Oysters & Mussels in containers & fresh mussels in shell & was delivered promptly the next morning. The freshest most delicious oysters I’ve ever tasted for awhile & I get bluff oysters on a regular basis from family in Invercargill. Mussels were also fresh as. Delivery fee is steep but you’re guaranteed the freshest & tastiest of kaimoana. 100% recommended.

Fantastic fresh seafood. Oysters you must try! We had crab sticks as delicious dessert ;). Nice seating area outside also! Highly recommended!
