Review Coromandel Cafe - Coromandel

Food is good. I really liked their Orange French toast and the spicy bagel. Pancakes, bacon sandwich, chicken sandwich are good. I expected the ambience to be really fancy. Service is fast. Their latte is okay but double shot coffee with chocolate is good. The only item I didn’t like much is there hot pink spinach Benedict

The atmosphere is surreal....timings are also very suitable...outdoor and indoor both options are available...price is little bit costly and the portions could've been more but you can visit there once to experience one of the best cafe in Pondicherry...The staffs are very well behaved. Also, it is pet friendly. We went there to have dinner and without drinks our total bill was 1880 Rs. We had Pork Chops, Beef Skewer and Seafood Spaghetti...all dishes were fresh and very tasty. Also they have good vegetarian options.

One place where everything is at its best. And this makes the place a busiest cafe. Loved the place, food, service, atmosphere and everything what come with this place. The wait time was worth as the medium rare beef steak was so good with a lovely sauce. Although would recommend the mashed potato to order also which would complete the food and taste. Completed the food with Elaneer sherbet and then the final part.. the best out of all.. the Carrot Cake.. never had so good a sweet dish as this.. would definitely recommend for all times..and also the burnt cheesecake. And a reasonable price. Best place and would definitely recommend..👌

In our 3 days stay in Pondicherry we ate twice here for Lunch and dinner. The food was amazingly delicious and service top class. Prices are a bit on the higher side but portions are good. Very impressive selection of dishes on the menu. Loved it.

Good place, have heard a lot about it so gave a try. Had crispy prawns which were good, then tried mashed potatoes 🥔 they were okayish, then had margarita pizza which was cheesy and yummy. Tried their carrot cake as well which was different and amazing. The place was buzzing with people during the lunch time around 2 pm. Its walkable from rock beach. Liked the ambience as well.

Best place to have a dine in experience in Pondicherry There is always a wait here and they don't take pre-bookings. Hence go early if u r lucky u will get a table. They have indoor and outdoor seating both. Very nice interiors perfect place for a group lunch or couple I personally love lunch here. Overall nice experience and food

I went to the restaurant to check what the hype is all about! Stands out, I can hands down say it's the best Cafe restaurant I've ever been to. The ambience, the colonial setting, the service, the food is just top notch. An urban chiq restaurant in midst of White Town close to the beach has a charm of it's own!! The ambience is to die for!! I love colonial houses and I love the history and this place shows it by bits and pieces. Also the place boasts a library!! The pizzas are damn nice, exactly how I like it in Italian style with a little olive oil drip on top. The cocktail we tried was nice too. Much recommended to everybody visiting Pondicherry, go there for dates or with family you won't be disappointed by the charm and ambience. Though the Price is on the costlier side but I feel it's justified for this cafe the kind of aura it provides. No less than a 5-star cafe in terms of food, plating, service standards or ambience.

I went for a 5 day trip to Pondicherry and visited this place thrice! The ambience is lovely, both inside and outside. The service was excellent the food was exquisite. Highly recommend the best dishes we had - Grilled Fish Crispy Prawn Fish & Chips Burnt Cheesecake We tried the Mac & Cheese, Pork chops, Seafood spaghetti, Korean BBQ chicken, Prawn Pizza, Pesto Pizza & Goat Cheese Pizza all of which were better than average in terms of taste and presentation. While the Eggs Benedict, widely praised in Google reviews, wasn't to our preference, it's not bad—just not up to the standard set by their lunch and dinner menu. I highly recommend making this your first stop when in Pondicherry.

Tried mushroom tofu skewers for the first time, and I must say, not disappointed. Next, I tried fish and chip 🤤. It was truly awesome, tasty. Cocktails were average. Ambiance is something I never thought of. Decorated a French house beautifully. Lastly, I tried dessert Tiramisu. It just melted in my mouth 🤤. This Coromandel Cafe is a must visit.

A definite visit while in pondicherry. We were offered the library room considering the number of people. If you are 6-10 people opt for library. Garlic bread is not worth, don't waste money on that. Had Creamy French seafood, that was good. Tried their handmade pasta it was one of a kind, carefully curated dish I would say. Chef special pizza was good.Mushroom quiche is my favourite.Dining in the French mansion itself is a goosebump moment. Security staff will help you with car parking if requested. The staff, the manager are all very polite, and attend to our needs. Only concern will be time, good things take time, so walk around while your order is getting ready

I had dinner in this restaurant to see what all the hype was about, and I must say, it lived up to its reputation. This cafe restaurant stands out as one of the best I've ever been in Pondy. The combination of its colonial setting, top-notch service, and delicious food creates a unique urban chic experience in the heart of White Town, near the beach. The ambiance is absolutely captivating, with a charming colonial house design that pays homage to the history of the area. I was pleasantly surprised to discover a library within the restaurant, adding to its appeal. The Continental cuisine was a standout for me, prepared in an authentic style with a delightful touch of authentic garnishing. We also tried some Dessert, and they were quite enjoyable. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Pondicherry, whether it's for a couple's outing or a family outing. The charm and ambiance alone are worth the visit. Prices are obviously on the higher side but in terms of food quality, presentation, service standards, and Ambiance this place is an exceptional cafe.

The food here is amazing and the vibe is classy. The only problem is the last order is at 9:30 pm and they stop seating people after that so try to reach before that if you want to get seated. We had beetroot hummus platter and a brown butter truffle pasta and both were really tasty.

I visited this cafe yesterday for the first time. The ambience and decor is stunning to say the least. Loved the soft lighting and the greenery around. There are vegan options galore on the menu too. The spicy lebneh platter was very enjoyable and I liked the other vegan cauliflower dish too. A must visit for the beauty of the place and the food. The staff is also very courteous.

We loved the ambience of this place. It was picture worthy and romantic. I've seen many cafes with similar decor and menu with cost on the pricey side. But what stands out here is the justified price, taste and variety in the menu. We went during dinner time and it was quite busy so we had to wait for sometime. We only ordered few items and we were satisfied with the overall food. We liked the pizza, starters and the carrot cake too. Would love to visit again when in Pondicherry.

Had an absolutely delicious meal here. The food was so tasty, with quality ingredients. The restaurant is stylishly designed and provides a smart casual dining environment with a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. We dined in the evening and it was nicely lit. Great service also.

It's a good place to visit while in the French Colony. Though the timings say the cafe is open all day, the breakfast end by 11 am and till lunch at 12.30 pm, you would be limited to only tea and coffee and some pastries. Taste is quite original and just wondering if its all worth the hype. Might recommend.

The best time to visit this cafe is around sunset as the ambience is like a little forest with a sitting and has a great view. They have indoor seating as well. To enjoy the weather and view outside is preferable. The food was good. We tried Caramelized Onion & goat cheese pizza it was good 👍 The right amount of crips and softness made all the difference 4/5 Organic Passion fruit twist 4/5 love the citrus and tangy flavour. I didn't like the cold chocolate it tasted like Horlicks 2/5 Mac and Cheese was good but onion slices should be smaller otherwise it was good 4/5 If I ever come to Pondicheery again I would like to taste their lunch menu.
