Great cafe / diner along the drive to Wellington, meat pies are fantastic and the chicken nuggets are prepared fresh. The cafe and facilities are clean with a colourful decoration of truck pictures.
Great place to stop for breakfast. Food was excellent, tasty, and well priced, and if you love trucks, there are hundreds of photos on the walls of all.the trucks that have stopped there over the years.
I always stop in on my through to hawkes bay. Nice big delicious meals amazing staff highly recommend the mixed grill!

Had a beautiful lunch today. Hadn't been for years, but now I've move back will be going regularly. Highly recommend thus place.😋😋😋
Usually when you got to a diner and ask for a scone heated with butter you get a dry scone with minimal butter, not this place though, decent scone with heaps of butter, Steak pie packed full of meat, yummy cakes and friendly service too, will definitely be back again.
Lovely little place for a short stop on the road. Friendly staff who made us feel welcome.
