There was great range of pies written up on the board so I selected the steak, chilli cheese. Turns out this is discontinued and had been replaced with Smoky Brisket, Jalapeno and cheese for I think $NZ8. So I went with that.

Wow ! This place is incredible. At lunch time, the queue is out the door every day(7 days a week). I've been told, the "lockdown" pie is extremely delicious. Also the caramel and brownie slice is extremely delicious.(I've tried it...twice !!)Wow ! Plenty of chairs and tables to sit and eat.

Darfield bakery has a cozy eating area and the pies are awesome 👌 try the chicken, apricots and cream cheese...WOW!!! Worth the drive out there. The experience won't disappoint 🙌
