Review Ned's Roasts - Drury

Best roast shop I've come across so far. Perfectly cooked pork and lamb (haven't tried the chicken), crunchy crispy spuds, roast pumpkin and kumara just like mums.

Disclaimer: I was an employee here. Have worked and eaten at other Roast Shops at other places as well. Probably one of the best roasts in Papakura if not Auckland. Personally I love their fried chicken, easily the best ones I've had! Although they switched owners, the food is still great and pretty much the same as always. Would recommend to anyone who wants a quick bite or something inexpensive to fill their stomach! Aaron

Recently moved to the area and tried there BBQ Pork Meal and pork and crackling roll and it was outstanding. Will most definitely become regulars there. Food portions are worth your money, without a doubt, and everything is cooked to perfection 👌

Absolutely love this place, great place for a meal, price is justified with serving amount. Couldn't recommend this place any more to others. Owners are a really nice bunch too. 👌🏻👌🏻

First time here yesterday, bought myself a small lamb roast dinner, WOW very good value for money, packed to the brim, the meat was melt in your mouth, I’ll definately be back. What’s great about it, is I can buy it in the afternoon and heat it up when I’m ready to eat it, still tastes lovely.

Love the chicken roll especially, much larger than other places with thigh and drum pieces in it. Food is very tasty.

I have to be honest it was a WOW for me & my husband,, we booked a motel about a minute drive from here,, I have to say they are honestly the best Roast meal I've had in a long time - their meat portions were worth the money 🙌👌👌

Everytime never miss, The Food, The Service and The People that stop in, is awesome. Love the Roast Dinners, Pork Rolls, Sanwhiches and of course the Crackle, gotta have that Crackle😁

The Best take out Roast dinners in South Auckland. Delicious, always fresh and hot. Premises are clean and tidy. My once a week treat.

Been a few year's since we've last had a meal from Ned's Roast, but tonight we did. Pork roast was to die for 💯 The pork crackling; large pieces & crackling crunchy 😊To finish off, we even brought their dessert's, peach crumble & apple crumble; so delicious. Will definitely be going back again soon.

Stopped by on our way to Hamilton. Its easily one of the best kiwi roasts I've had in New Zealand! The gravy was somewhat different to the other ones I've tried, the taste is quite unique. Also grabbed a roll and sandwich, which was a steal for $8.50! Much better than maccas I'd say for the price you're paying.

It is more pricey than other roast places, but the vegetables were probably the best I have ever had from a roast shop. Beef was nice, pork was tasty, and crackling perfect. Very nice store!

Nice roast, good amount of meat but DO NOT BUY THE "CHOCOLATE MOUSSE"! This is such a rip-off I couldn't believe it! It is literally 3/4 tub of crumbled biscuit/cake with one measily, thin swirl of chocolate mousse on top. Absolutely false advertising, my family and I are so disappointed and disgusted.

Have always had a great feed here for a fair price. The lamb rolls are the goods, and pork with crackle and their awesome coated potatoes... ye boii 👌👌

Simply a great place with awesome service, they even remember your usual order weeks and months apart. Highly recommended to eat in or take home when you want that home cooked roast without the work and dishes

Just had a quite pleasant meal at Ned's. The customer service was alright, but they served we some delicious and well cooked roasted potatoes and lamb shank. Lacked a bit of sauce but overall, a very nice meal. A bit expensive for me and my fellow Campbell friends. But is worth the money, the lemon cheesecake was very ZESTY. Very convenient parking for me and my Toyota Platz. Nice chicken, i would go again and say hi to the friendly staff for me!!!!

The meat is always tasty and tender and veges cooked well. A bit of an expensive way to feed a family of four but handy and quick. It would be nice to have a decent slosh of apple sauce on the pork rather than a measly dribble though.

When this place first open, they had some of the best roast potatos in the buisness, but over time and a change of owners it took a toll on food quality.<br/>However un recent times, i've found myself returning multiple times for a tasty and hearty roast meal. <br/>Prices are standard roast prices and you get the typical packed plastic package anyway, good kai for coin.<br/>This is just my opinion, feel free to attend and form your own.
