We had our wedding at Glenfalloch Gardens on 11th November 2016.
The staff at Glenfalloch were so friendly yet professional and you could tell they had done many weddings before and knew exactly what they were doing! Somehow I even managed to throw my bouquet and knock down their light and they all just laughed it off and made sure I was okay!
The planning process was easy because they all knew exactly what they were doing and having everything in one location was fantastic. The bridal lawn looked superb with all the flowers!
The food for the whole day and night was incredible. Every single dish they prepared was to die for and we had compliments coming from our guests non stop through the night!! One guest even went as far to say that she has been to over 7 weddings and this was by far the best food she had ever had.
Thank you Mel and the rest of the Glenfalloch team for making our wedding day so perfect!! And super big props to the chefs - your food is spectacular!!! 👌🏼

Had a lovely time at the restaurant and gardens in the evening, where I had talked with staff and set up a proposal in the garden area. It was lovely and the staff were very helpful during the event. The live music was beautiful, the fire was warm. The food and dessert was fantastic!

Dined in for a date night with my husband. The atmosphere was incredible with live music throughout 👌🏻 Food was great (I chose the vegetarian options - pumpkin soup with bread for starters, and the Portobello Mushroom with roasted potatoes for mains). Both dishes were delicious and were really big portions! Vegetarian / vegan friendly menus are available separately and can be obtained by asking your waiter for one 😊
Hubby choose the pumpkin soup for starters and the Fish of the Day for mains which he confirmed to be very enjoyable 👌🏻
The live music and ambience of the restaurant definitely sets the tone for a romantic dinner date 🥹

First thing when you arrive, it’s the beautifully kept grounds and peaceful atmosphere that brings you in.
Then it’s the great service staff and restaurant that’s definitely worth the price of admission.
Food was impeccable. Everything we had tasted great and was a big surprise.
Exploring the gardens brought a whole new perspective with cute birds that follow you when you cross the area.

O my! Really good food. Everything is super well made, the ice chocolate drink was superb, even had ice cream balls in it, the combination was done beautifully. The beef cheeks were extremely tender, which means the chef is showing off a little bit. Beef cheeks are normally very had to do right. Platter was really high quality. Atmosphere is warm and friendly. Pricing is just right for the type off food, but of course a more up market restaurant.
Booked for lunch but when checked in they had the booking for a week later. No issues as seated us pretty much straight away. The table we wanted wasn't available but this was not an issue.
Food and service was very good. Overall would recommend and definitely would go back
Wow! Just wow! The team at Glenfalloch have been amazing. We organised our wedding remotely from Australia, and choreographed it with the arrival in Dunedin of our cruise ship. Everything was perfect - venue, food, logistics, flowers, celebrant. The weather was great and showed off the spectacular gardens. Thanks so much to Alex, Monica and the team. You were fabulous.
Amazing environment and excellent quality foods plus brilliant service. We had Trust the chief 3 course for our first visit, unforgettable juicy lamb which definitely surprised us. Love those warm wait staffs, chiefs and beautiful environment!

We recently had our wedding at Glenfalloch Gardens followed by the reception at the lovely restaurant.
We cannot speak highly enough of Melanie and the team at Glenfalloch Gardens who made our day so very special.
We planned the majority of the wedding from Australia, and were worried about the smaller details and our ability to execute the tasks we needed to, to make our day just right. Melanie was always reassuring, offering suggestions, ready to support us and guide us through the process.
We knew we always wanted an outdoor wedding and although there was a small amount of rain on our day, the team at Glenfalloch quickly ensured all our guests were dry with large umbrellas and that our onsite marques was equipped with heaters to keep everyone toasty and warm.
They kindly set up our decor to make the reception venue a picture of perfection, and better than we had imagined it.
The food was excellent. As vegetarians, we knew the restaurants reputation to deliver and were excited to try the dishes on hand. Many of our guests commented on how delicious their meal was.
Melanie and the team always went above and beyond to make sure all the details were covered, and to ensure our day ran smoothly. We appreciated how often they checked in on us and our family and friends to ensure everyone was having a good time.

Came here for Christmas Lunch. I’m not sure I’m one to review fancy meals but they all looked amazing and the meat was perfect. The grounds were also lovely but I did not get a chance to have a proper look around. They were very tidy and I look forward to coming back at some stage to see the rest. Definitely worthwhile stopping by for a visit.
