Review Salt - Dunedin

Best K.
The food taking a very long time in between starter-mains-dessert. We ordered a starter to share but did not give us extra plates. Also sundae taking awhile to be served. The seafood chowder is not brilliant taste yet but worth the price. Stuff service is great. But food service literally slow

Ordered beef burger and karaage chicken. Burger was juicy, flavorful and came completely with crispy fries. The karaage chicken pieces was tender and crispy. The salad accompanied was also nice. Overall I enjoyed my food with the good ambiance of this restaurant.

A lovely salmon eggs bennie at a fair price. I'd definitely have this dish again. I saw a French toast go past to another customer and that looked good too. Friendly staff with a nice outlook where you can watch Dunedin's finest drivers navigate a simple roundabout. Entertainment, good food and service. Worth a try particularly if you can find a time when it's not too busy.

Nice spot for a quick lunch. BF's Karaage Chicken Burger was brilliant, sadly my seafood chowder didn't quite hit the mark :(. As far as seafood is concerned it only contained prawns and mussels and definitely needed cream and a decent amount of seasoning added. Service was ace and coffee great so I'd certainly go back but not get the milky looking and tasting prawn and mussel soup :)

Happy staff and a very fast service, the doughnut smashed burger is the BEST burger I've had in Dunedin and the salt an pepper squid is absolutely cracking! One of my favourite spots in town.

3.5 stars. Popular restaurant but quite noisy when packed. Lovely staff. Menu was ok but expected more seafood options considering where restaurant is. Prices were reasonable though.
