Great place to be back and reminisce.. Still great atmosphere to celebrate after watching the Rugby game Highlanders v Hurricanes at the Forsyth Barr stadium. Recommend to all...

Great food and typical cosy bar

People, we had a very nicely cooked lamb shank dinner with a couple of nice ciders. The mains needed some more green hot vegetables as support & the young guy waiting on us needs to understand the difference between a cold salad and hot vegetables. Nice, cosy, warm atmosphere, & definitely recommend the food menu. Steve Franklin Rotorua

Great food and staff members were great. A great pub atmosphere could do with an interior refresh

Friendly staffs. Place has a bit worn out and needs a bit of cleaning. Food's portion were huge. Enough for sharing. Taste was acceptable. Pricing for food was very reasonable for the portion size

A lovely dining experience twas had...I tried my first Guinness, and I enjoyed it very much... nice taste and very easy to drink. We shared entrees of calamari, and stuffed mushrooms... very generous portions. I had corn, pumpkin and bacon fritter stack which was huge, and very filling. We also had the Surf n Turf, another massive meal, steak (which we couldn't finish), mussels, prawns, and chips. Unfortunately no room for dessert. We waddled out, bellies full and content. Very happy chappies, cheers 😁

Awesome meals, have tried many of the mains now and no complaints at all everything has consistently been amazing! Such great value for money, but we havent had a chance to try any entrees or desserts yet. Lunches here are great too!! Great place to take the family, kids dine free on a Sunday which is an awesome deal!

Authentic Irish pub and i ordered Irish stew which was gluten free. Friendly wait staff. We loved the decor.

We went as a large family group and the service was great. Everyone enjoyed there generous meals. Downs Stairs was an open mic evening and it sounded like a great time in Dunedin.

As a part of my Sperm Donation World tour of New Zealand I headed down to Dunedin. There was a quiz night on later that night so came back down, had a nice surf and turf and came dead last in the quiz. Good night.

Good place for a cheap beer. Didn't try the food.
