Excellent service and yummy food I tried both beef and chicken shawermas and they are definitely the best I've had in Dunedin. Ali the owner and chef is a really humble person and is passionate about his food and you can tell by the way he presents it on the plate.

My wife and I were in the area and decided to give it a go. The food was amazing, we couldn't believe it. We went for the chicken shawerma. The food is authentic, using proper ingredients. The "kebabs" from a typical takeaway shop is pathetic compared to Alibaba's shawerma. The chef seems to be the owner also, does everything himself. Very humble and great service.

Nice little family run place with slightly westernized portions but authentic taste. The owner really is named Ali. Value for money. Clean and well run. Meals were very tasty.

Food was good, though I thought it was a little dry. Maybe some sort of juice/sauce on the chicken would be pleasant. Food didn’t take long to make. The staff were nice and the prices were reasonable.

What a great and beautiful restaurant in the town, I was looking for a Halal restaurant and my friends highly recommended Alibaba as a Halal certified restaurant. The theme is Arabic/ Middle eastern, very tasty food , fresh ingredients and home style food prepared by experienced Jordanian Chef/ owner.<br/>Nice, clean store and friendly owners. I'm looking forward to back again.
