Review Perc Cafe St Clair - Dunedin

This is a great cafe with unbeatable views and fantastic food. Could not understand why there are not more reviews on this place. Only explanation is that all the locals want to keep it quiet and to themselves given the popular location. We order the mochas which were very tasty followed by eggs Benedict and a cake. The carrot cake was to die for. Nice and warm inside with glass windows all round. Highly recommended.

This is now Long Dog Cafe and the food and hospitality are fantastic. A must place to visit. Great sea and beach views.

This small cafe has a really nice view over the coastline, but that's not the best about it. Came here and ate their curly fries and holy mother these are the best fries I've ever eaten in my life. With 8$ not that cheap but it's definitely worth it.

I was very excited when I found out that there was a 'Perc Cafe' out at St Clair. On entrance I automatically impressed by the setting! Where else can literally have a coffee where you can feel the sea spray. I thought to myself, 'I am on to a winner.' The coffee was brought out in a timely manner, however one member of our group had ordered a coffee, however it took a long time for it to be brought out. Further, on a purely constructive note, our group thought it would be nice if management could offer a discount for people who bring their own cups. Overall, the Perc Cafe is set in my favourite location, the staff are super friendly and provide good customer service. I would highly reccomend this Cafe.

Stunning views and excellent coffee. Watch the surfers out the window while you unwind. An awesome place to relax. Yummy food too...and have a dip in the salt water pool in the summer. :)

Now called Long Dog Cafe with new owners, and it's better than ever! Great coffee, great food & as always great views - but also really friendly staff which creates a good vibe & just tops it off as the place to go!

Cosy, relaxing with great views of the beach and watching the waves roll in. This cafe is on the site of the hot salt water pool but you dont need to go there to enjoy the friendly atmosphere and food.
