Mei Wah Fish & Chips - Dunedin - Photo album

Weve had fish with half serve chips aand vegetable chow mein. Was very tasty! Very friendly service as well. Good price. Vege chow mein 11$ fish 2.50 chips 2.50 (half serve 1.50). Good amount of fish and not like in many places thicker batter then fish. Crispy chips. Thanks
Friendly staff and great fish n chips! We come here regularly and especially like the garlic butter chips. Place is nice and clean.
This is my favorite fish and chips store. Yummy and affordable and just a few walks away from the campus. Highly recommended!
Staff was by far the friendliest I have met. We even had a chat. I enjoyed their food. It was however exactly the same as every other fish and chips place in Christchurch. Unfortunately we have not found one that stands out. They all use the same batter and same fish so it's all the same.
I walked in as they take pride in their business. Lovely flowers on the table and nice family feel. I have not been able to eat many chips for years as I have a sensitive stomach. First time in years I've had chips and not felt sick. Their fish was real too. When you remove the batter you can see t
Bloody good fish and chips, sweet and sour pork for the soul and customer service is a vibe. Oh, and the prices! Student reasonable! Mei Wah is dangerously convenient and definitely worth a try (especially if maccas has done you wrong).
Fairly priced available items. Can't go wrong with the fish and chip classics. Other dishes (specifically sweet and sour pork on rice) are cheap during their lunch time specials but are less palatable due to being cooked with the deep fryer with all other items. It gives it a grimier taste versus wh
Awesome food awesome people.would highly recommend to anyone who wants a top notch takeaway meal
Best takeaways in dunedin!! 100% would recommend. They are such great people who make amazing food!
Also a good feed from this lot. Great selection and pretty prompt too
Best sweet and sour pork. If I lived in Dunedin I would drive across town for it. A lovely fried rice a couple of days earlier, too. Highly recommended
Stopped in for blue cod and chips. Chips were nicely cooked. Blue cod was probably frozen but was still a good sized fillet and nicely cooked.
Great selection available. I really like the crumbed fish, Onion rings and the chrisp hash browns.
Still has the same great tasteful & nostalgic memories from 30 years ago.
Fast service, nice food, attentive staff, speak English, no draughts when door closed while you are waiting.
Good food and service.
My family have been going here for over twenty five years. Great service even better food would highly recommend.
