Review Sea Salt Cafe And Eatery - Eastbourne

Absolutely amazing experience at Sea Salt! We were greeted by staff the moment we walked in the door and promptly seated with a menu. Everyone was friendly and helpful, we ordered coffees and desserts (in which I can recommend the Mocha and Creme Brulee). It was such a nice atmosphere to spend the afternoon in and I'll definitely be coming in again soon!

The atmosphere is very relaxing and not at all overwhelming. The customer service is always wonderful and the food and drinks are always a delight to have on any day! Very deserving of a 5 star rating.

Came in late morning mid week. It was very quiet (usually very busy on weekends when I have been past). The service was excellent. The food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend.

Location is 5/5 and bathed in morning sunlight, perfect for a winter’s morning. Staff were friendly enough but they weren’t proactive at removing old dishes from tables, so new customers had to push them aside. Eggs came out incorrectly initially but the chef fixed them up; no salt, pepper or butter offered though. Green smoothie was not nice, hardly any greens and mostly just banana and sweetened almond milk.

We visited Sea Salt for lunch today, the meals were excellent, served by a charming waitress. The crispy calimari was one of the best I have enjoyed, just the right smount of pepper, and perfectly cooked. Brilliant coffee, served hot too.

One of my favorite place for afternoon coffee or brunch. Always enjoy to having coffee there with beautiful harbour view. Especially when weather is fine. The only disadvantage is they do close at 15:00 or 16:00 in the afternoon? So, we always need to finish our afternoon coffee before that time

It was our first time to have a meal at this cafe and we were not disappointed. The staff was pleasant and the food was superb. We were a bit surprised that the table and floor were a bit grubby for a cafe of that standard. We will definitely come back though. Overall experience was very good.

Warm and welcoming with the fire blazing and a stunning view of the bay. Service was great, food was tasty, delicious and professionally presented. Highly recommended will definitely be going back.

Very impressed with the quality of the food here. We had a party of 6 for lunch, all ordered something different and everyone really enjoyed it. My favorite was the mushrooms on toast, so creamy and delicious. It pretty popular, so there was a 20min wait for food, but they were up front about it, and no problem.

Always great food here and love the platters done for kids.

Lovely place to visit. Will definately come here in tbe summer. Breakfast was very nice although the menu said 'mushrooms' and there was only one small one!

Visited Sea Salt Cafe for Sunday lunch with my family. We sat outside and enjoyed our delicious food with the beautiful view of Wellington Harbour from Days Bay. The food was well-seasoned, decently priced, and arrived within 5 minutes of ordering. There were also quite large portions (which we were unaware of, hence the six plates between three people!). If there was only one criticism, I wish the decor and furniture outside was cleaner, since this would have made our time at the cafe more comfortable. But otherwise would definitely visit again for the food and service!

We have had many family dinners at Sea Salt and some with large groups. The service and food has always been exceptional. To get meals all out at the same time and with no complaints whatsoever is a true testament to how great this place is. Highly recommend to all.

Pleasantly surprised by subsequent visits to this place. I find the service very welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere is very relaxing. Lovely big, open area with full length windows allowing lots of light with, of course, lovely views. Food has been nice. An enjoyable experience overall.

Magnificent. Vibrant flavours accompanied by striking presentation and wholehearted service combine for a complete and thoroughly satisfying dining experience. Their fish had me hooked from the first bite. A delight from start to finish.
