A little gem pub with good ambiance and very tasty food at a good price. Perfect to stop on the way if you’re doing the AtoO bike trail or just to enjoy a meal or drink in good company. Definitely a place to try if you pass by Oamaru!
Great meal amazing value for money diffentlty will be back again. Well worth the short drive from town. Busy little place great to see so many people even on a cold night. U guys rock. Blue cod was so fresh 2 good size pieces chips and salad $25 be hard to beat.

A quaint country pub about 15 minutes inland, west of Oamaru. The staff were warm and friendly. It was a quiet Wednesday afternoon. Great view look looking west.
The food was ok for pub grub. We had the soup of the day, which was bacon & pumpkin, fish of the day, which was gurnard, and a chicken burger with fries. Meals were good portions. The toilets were clean and inside of the pub was charming.
Nice pub atmosphere, good food and friendly service. Nothing fancy, but the menu has decent variety, with gluten-free options on most items, and a couple of vegetarian choices. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.
This is a must visit if you are looking for a great pub meal. Great service, and food. It was a Lovely sunny day and they have nice outdoor tables. Few minutes drive from Oamaru. I'll definitely be back.
Amazing place, friendly welcoming staff and my favourite fish and chips to date. A cold 1905 beer from Scotts brewery and blue cod go perfectly. Pleasant place to spend the afternoon with stunning views, friendly locals and occasionally some cool old muscle cars in the car park. Best place to chill out and enjoy Otago. NZ at its best !

Stop off to have a drink this afternoon. Well impressed with welcoming staff and atmosphere, we decided to come back for dinner. Most accommodating when rung to see if we could make a booking, that they even pick us up in their courtesy van. Great meal and service. Definitely will be back.
