Review Baker - Featherston

Best bakery this side of the hill. A lot of vegan options too which is a really pleasant surprise for any vegan/dairy free people looking for baked goods.

Great little bakery. I recommend visiting on Saturday mornings so you can enjoy the Featherston Farmers Market next door as well. Small but tasty selection of pastries and bread. Open hours are a bit limiting so check ahead.

Hidden gem. The matcha Berry cake was such a treat. Fluffy sponge, just the right amount of sweetness topped with fresh cream. Highly recommend if you're dropping by the area.

Delicious bread and pastries at this small bakery. These Brunsviger were really good. A lovely light pastry with crunch at the bottom. The almond croissants were lovely too, as was the soup of the day. There is free filter coffee and a couple of tables and chairs outside, so rug up. I can't wait for my next visit so I can try more pastries here. Mmmmmmm!

Such an authentic bakery.:you get to watch the talented and passionate Baker at work. Everything is made from scratch, the Beef and Blue cheese pie is just great: perfect balance of cheese and meat taste, lots of filling and flaky buttery pastry.... YUM!

Beautiful selection of light baked Danish and treats, amazing coffee (Flight Coffee) and the sourdough bread is the best! Great stop if you want some freshly baked goods!

Love this place. Bit of a hidden gem in Featherston. Great coffee and amazing French and Danish goodies + a fantastic range of freshly baked breads. 👉

The Featherston bakery has really hit its stride. I don't know whether it's new staff or machinery, but one way or another the produce is no longer charred. Loaves are a perfect balance of moist, tasty bread encased in a clean and crunchy crust. Pastries are light and delicious with mouth - watering fillings, and they still find room to surprise us with experimental gastronomy. 'Very well done' now just means great work!

The Featherston Baker is one of the best. These olive rosemary breads are to die for, such a divine texture and taste.
