Review The Dutch Oven Cafe - Foxton

Perfect spot for a coffee and brunch. The orange and date scones were delicious šŸ˜‹ sorry no pictures as we were too busy scoffing them down šŸ˜‚. Great coffee too. Lots of lovely cabinet choice's, I'd spotted the apple strudel after I'd paid šŸ™„. Foxton is a lovely place, I'll be back for sure šŸ˜ƒ and eating here again. Friendly staff, comfy chairs and really peaceful since it's on the main Street. And of course the windmill as a view šŸ˜‰

Beautiful cafe - cute decor & has a nice view of the flour mill. Friendly & accomodating staff. Eggs bene with salmon could do w less salt but otherwise food was great! ā¤ļø Iā€™d recommend going šŸ˜Š

Great atmosphere and service, friendly staff. I had the macaroni cheese which was very tasty and a side dish of very yummy, crisp šŸŸ fries. The coffee was nice and hot

We went on Kings Birthday Sunday and they where very busy. The place was full. The food had about a half hour wait but the time seemed to pass quickly and then it was there. The staff one in particular was a hard case, just what you need to have a good laugh. Enjoyed the time there and the food. Would definitely go again. They have a good outside seating area as well but was a little cold the day we went. In summer it would be great.

Absolutely lovely place to stop at near the Molen. Easy parking, nearby other attractions. Tried the stampot and it reminded me of home. The pastries looked delicious but didnt have a chance to try those.

Always a nice stop here to have a break, some of the great cakes or a meal. Never have been disappointed by the quality and the service.

This is a must stop between Wellington & Rotarua which undoubtedly has the most delicious scones in New Zealand. Stephanie & her staff are so welcoming & friendly
