What a delightful Man who served us. I believe he was the owner, said "his wife made the meat patties." Which my husband loved. Also gave us an extra fish end, joking about coming from a large family someone is always left still hungry. He appeared to know the town as others entered and he chatted with them about there day. Fish and chips were so tasty, awesome hot dog as well.

A great place for fish and chips in my rohe. Always fresh and crispy, never fatty. Always a good serving of chips. Recommended.

First time eating here, awesome crispy chips. Fish tasted spot on and service was impeccable. 👌 Not only will I be back but I will encourage others to eat here too. Thanks guys

Just passing through Geraldine tonight but best fish and chips we’ve had for ages. Much better than our Christchurch local. Fresh cod cooked perfectly with crispy batter, and crisp chips. Staff friendly and meal was cooked quickly and stayed remarkably hot for ages.

Passed through just before closing on a Saturday night. Don’t let the exterior put you off from entering and ordering. The food was great. Scoops could have been a little bigger but fish and other sides were tasty. Old school service, with a nice touch of humour. No complaints from staff even though we arrived late. Would definitely go back again.

Great value for money with awesome tasting fish and plenty of old school style chips. Service was cheerful happy and positive. Told us how long it would take to prepare and was ready to the minute. Not many places you can feed a couple with even chips leftover for less than $20 . Unpretentious shop that simply does what it does well without any gimmicks or bells and whistles.

The best fish and chips just like you remember. They keep it old school and it works. Pop in for anything from minimum chips or a big feast and just get good old fashioned fresh fish and made in-house potato fritters.

Amazing fish and chips. They were short staffed so I felt bad for the workers but they still got the food out quickly and I loved my fish and chips. Will definitely head back there.

Superb fresh fish you choose for battering. Really nice chips and down to earth people serving. Not slick and speedy but worth the wait.

Food was ok the doughnuts however were rock hard on outside. However the customer service from the older chap was great very friendly.
