The best book shop on the East Coast of the North Island, great selection, wonderful atmosphere, friendly staff, if only there was a place like this in every City in New Zealand, it might get people back into physical books.
Lovely staff, with a great selection of books. A definite recommendation for book lovers.
Always great service only too happy to help you find books. Extensive collection of interesting titles. Great for the reader looking for something outside of the usual best seller list but also has best sellers too. A reason for a visit to Gisborne alone.

If you can't find what you want elsewhere you are pretty much guaranteed to find it at Muirs. The cafe upstairs is fantastic too. There's something about the smell of coffee and books.
