Lone Star - Gisborne - Photo album

Fantastic meal, a very busy place so you have to book a table. Only downside to me I found it noisy and hard to find a parking spot.
We turned up for dinner without a booking a couple of days before Christmas, and after a short wait we were lucky enough to be seated. The service by all who dealt with us was on point, exceptional! The food was next level, massive servings packed with flavour leaving 3 of us very full and satisfied
Was my second night of dinning, staff are friendly and given we had no reservation we were quick to be seated. I had the spare ribs, 9 of them, with wedges and a lovely coleslaw, I confess, of the 9 supper big rids, I managed 4, but I did eat 80% of the coleslaw. The harbor view is lovely, and yes I
Great place for some drinks and a bite to eat. Nice setting with great views of the harbour and nicely positioned to watch the sunset. Food and service were good, beer was nice and cold. Tables outside on the deck are nice and big so ideal if you are a group of friends meeting up for some drinks. Ov
All the staff including our waitress Jasmine, were so friendly and helpful. Exceeded our expectations. 💯 The meal was superb and prompt. Highly recommend this venue in Gissy.
I enjoyed my meal here. The only feedback I have is to ensure your diners aren't completely forgotten about. Apart from asking for our order and drink on arrival, it was near impossible to catch someone's attention for another drink or takeaway container. The waitress kept walking right past us
I was here in the evening to grab some drink. At the entrance there was no staff and it wasn't clear if I'm allowed to take a place by myself. The place looks good. I had some ciders. The staff is pretty polite. I was just shocked they wanted to close two hour sooner. I didn't eat here.
Best Chicken meal iv had was so good...great friendly service. Would have been 5 star if it wasn't for the hour wait. Still good place to eat tho nice views.
Service is great every time we go. There was quite a wait time this last time we went due to new kitchen staff but our waitress was amazing & made sure we were well taken care of. The place is a little dark but otherwise it's a nice & clean place to have dinner.
Overall a good meal, typical Lonestar, just like every one across the country. Decent steak cooked to my liking, only gripe was the sauce was a bit sparse, ran out about half way through. For the money I think buying a better cut from the supermarket is probably worth the effort.
Service was OK, but I had simple nachos and the meat wasn't hot. Very busy place.
After dinner, I feel that the service is good 。 Friends also ordered different meals and they were delicious. Especially you can see the port. It is a plus for the restaurant.
First visit, excellent service on arrival, during, and as we left. Meals delivered in good time, delish presentation, and great tasting. Atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and child friendly. Will return
Auckland Anniversary weekend and down to Waipiro Bay/Te Puia Springs for the long one, on our way back surprised to find many of the eateries were shut for the public holiday on the Monday, hunted around and sure enough Lonestar was open and on a perfect hot sunny evening, grabbed a table and watche
