Review Yoko Sushi Express - Gisborne

Friendly staff, good selection of choices, super clean, awesome atmosphere. Lots of smiles when you visit. There's also the treat of the staff loudly singing while making Sushi. Love it, a people's place for the people by the people (no snobbery). There's a reason there's often lines out the door in Summer!!

Woah this was just an awesome experience. Kastu curry is just amazing, as well as everything else! Incredible price also. I've no idea how people say otherwise. complaining about bad service when they've got great service along with meals. everything is fresh. People have also been saying that none of Yoko sushi's kai is real japanese food, when the restaurant is ran by a wonderful Japanese lady, named Yoko. Please do better next time people.

We had lunch here 3 out of the 7 days in Gisborne. To feed our family of four, we paid between $30 - $40 and everyone is full and satisfied. The food is fresh, tasty, and if you're lucky you can dine in or outside there's some tables. We enjoyed the food here and the service is great, vaccine passports checked.

Great Sushi food at a great price, miso soup is free with meal, clean and tidy business, worth popping into, they have good seating.

Everything is cheap for a lot of food! its delicious and fresh and the teriyaki chicken and sauces on top scrumdily yum yum also theres smoked salmon is beautiful everything’s well cooked

Sushi sandwiches are my fav, kids love them and they're filling. Not a bad feed for under $6...

Friday pie day no more! Great variety, freshly made. Yet to see a slow service day. Love the rewards system. Who doesn't like free sushi?

Fantastic service. staff were very friendly and helpful. My granddaughter and I had the Karaage chicken on rice..Loved it.

Great sushi place. We always go here for lunch good sized portions and good prices. Also usually parking as it's not on the main drag!
