Review The Wharf Bar & Grill - Gisborne

We booked here for our work due and it was amazing, we all left super happy. Incredible service and the food was out quick. The place was super tidy and it had a lovely atmosphere.

Nice view over the Marina. Quiet and not too busy. Food was nice and reasonably priced. Met by a staff member and given a tablet to order from at the table then to the bar to order drinks so no real service.

We haven't been to the Wharf Bar & Grill for a few years as the last time we went it was a bit of a let down but last night was a beautiful experience! We were welcomed with a friendly staffer, there was a personalised table reservation with our name beautifully written, there were tablets on the table to put through orders when we felt like (no calling out to waitress at all), the two waitresses were really friendly, smiley & efficient. Food was excellent too & very fulling!! The garlic bread was sooo yum!!! Definitely will be back sooner next time.

The Kai is always on point😋 the service is 2nd to none👍 the atmosphere and Harbourview is amazing😳 the cocktails are always delicious and I would recommend it to anyone. Lovely dinner tonight. Wait staff were fantastic. Love the tablet ordering system, drinks were delivered straight after order was confirmed. Delicious food. Clean and tidy table with plenty of utensils, salt, pepper, napkins etc (annoying how many places miss these little things). Will definitely recommend my boss shouts us dinner here again in the future!

Had a perfect dinner out with my other half last night, quick service and food was delicious, huge congrats to the chefs, really knocked it out the park! didn't catch the waitress name but loved her enthusiasm

Excellence, A+ Star Rating 3 course meals, for 25 customers. Food was cooked to absolute perfection, all steaks, fish meals, entree salads to chicken wings, very nicely sized portions, and decadent puddings....cremeburlee had the perfect crack across almost 10 plates..........atmosphere was conversational, and music was entertaining, the front of staff Jasemine just professional and service beyond imagination, staff support, waitresses and chef were TOP CLASS 100%%% recommend A++++ Arohanui RTLB@GGHS

It was a great evening celebrating my partners bday when we reached Wharf on a rainy evening. The place have decided be a great job profile n setting the interiors melting with the whole atmosphere of the surroundings along with a tall structure. Jasmine who served us was just an amazing person. Not even guided us through the menu but also helped us in deciding the options for a dinner. The wings tasted really good, only few places sell some really great wings and one of them are they. Meals were great, big and succulent, menu has quite a good options on it, I had a burger and my partner had a asian style seafood . We both enjoyed the whole evening. Thanks

Good service, small wait for mains on a Friday night. Recommend booking a table. Chicken "chick norris" wrapped in bacon with roast veges and mash had a very tasty sauce. Poncho platter of seafood however had slightly overcooked seafood to our liking but good flavours, the risotto tomato chorizo base flavour was a little overpowering and the seafood got lost. Creme Brulee was delicious. Overall a very yummy experience.
