Very good food at a great price, we had the seafood enchiladas, chicken enchiladas and a couple of kids quesadillas. Very friendly amicable service. Our bill was only $20 per head including drinks.
We had the seasonal seafood enchilada, beef burrito and ‘wet’ chicken burrito. Volume was great, price reasonable, and taste brilliant. It’s good, filling, homely food, comparable to Tex Mex but actually not from Texas (I forget which region, but they use olives and tomatoes in the burritos, which makes them a bit lighter than full on Tex Mex). Margaritas were awesome. Totally recommend.
The Margarita's were exceptional, possibly the best I have ever had. The taco's were less special however the dishes ordered at other tables looked great and were plentiful. A fun, lively little place where the owner is also server, cocktail mixer, table clearer and waiter. Worth a visit if only to have a couple of margarita's!

The food is really good, they serve Baja California Mexican style. But we went like three times to try to have dinner there, and the owner said to us that they didn’t have space when we can see empty tables, I don’t know why. Finally we can ate there but the owner was kind of rude and weird. The margarita is too expensive for small size that is.
The Surfin' Taco straight up rules. Mexican food done right, in a laid back atmosphere with good vibes a plenty. Vegan tacos so nice we went back twice. This ain't fast food, it's food that gets eaten, fast. Cheers guys.
Cool Authentic Mexican Kai in Gisborne. Enter thru a plain facade into a little Mexico away from Mexico. Delicious food prepared by the owner accompanied by a choice of Mexican beverages. In November 2020 opening hours are Wed - Sat. Prices are reasonable so why not pay them a visit!!!
Meals and service were awesome.
This was fantastic and well priced food. Full of flavour, fresh and delicious. The shark attack margarita was a hit too. We will be back. Loved the food. Thanks guys !!!
