Review Frank And Albie's - Gisborne

Staff were eager to create exactly what we wanted - even adjusting a couple of ingredients to suit a vegetarian in our group. Coffee was delicious!

Gorgeous little spot just off the main road in the village. Lots of boutique style things to purchase alongside the delicious Cafe fare. Great vegan options. Had a yummy vegan burger sandwich which I thoroughly enjoyed. Nice outdoor seating spaces as well as some indoor seating. Great spot for brunch or lunch with lots of parking.

What an amazing little breakfast and brunch place in Gisborne! I would put it on a “do not miss” list for when you visit the area. The menu here is great, with many options for any dietary needs, including vegetarian or vegan. We loved the helpful and friendly staff and their really amazing coffee drinks and chai lattes. They had several milk options, instead of just the “usual” dairy or soy. The food was delicious, and the donuts, pastries, and brioche were very fresh and absolutely yummy. Probably the best donut that I have ever eaten....and I love donuts! The space was roomy with indoor and outdoor seating. There were also local organic foods, preserves, etc, for sale and some locally made pottery and gifts, too. We would definitely recommend this place to everyone and will definitely eat here again!

My local favorite. Outdoor seating (so important in COVID times) perfect strong coffee, friendly staff and delicious baked goods fresh daily.

The first real burger I found in Gisborne. It was not over cooked with the perfect amount of sauce 👌

Best food, coffee, milkshakes, donuts, macaroni, cheese scones, in town. And always friendly service

Hi, I'm adding this as of January 2021. The food is still delicious but the portions are much smaller than what they use to be.
