Very lovely staff today. Food was fresh, hot drinks were nice. Pretty clean. Just had to ask for toilet paper as 2 out of 3 toilets had none. All in all, I'd come back again. :)

I was only visiting this weekend from Auckland. First time visiting gizzy maccas! To all the team workers involved who worked 4am - 5am Saturday 16/12/23, i hope use enjoy your $$ tips 💯. We'll deserved. Gizzy maccas crew has to be my best experienced being serviced from any maccas in NZ. From accepting my order when they were shift swap, which most maccas dont usually let go. To the polite customer service from the drive thru. To the worker who spoke from the other window, to another worker who served good food and to the back crew i could hear in the background eager to serve my order. Lastly the correct ordered food served exceptionally how it should to satisfy one's needs.

Saying goodbye to Gisborne McDonald's is like bidding farewell to an old friend who's been there through thick and thin, or perhaps "thick and extra thick," in my case. As I embark on a diet journey to shed those extra pounds, I can't help but reflect on the delightful memories this place has given me. I will miss my cheeky maccas runs and my go to 10pc chicken nugget combo. I will never forget the people here. The time a random old lady who, after a chilly DanceFit concert, gave me her jacket like a guardian angel. The time an old man who shared a Monopoly ticket from his coffee, turning a casual beverage into an unexpected treasure hunt. And who could overlook the stoner who was a regular, always ordering the blackcurrant juice? And speaking of memorable visits, there was that time a brave soul ordered a custom gourmet burger with no buns and an astonishing 14 patties that took over the entire table. A true legend in the world of fast food. Let's not leave out the incident when they "forgot" my Quarter Pounder, made my day. And then, there were the countless hungover or tipsy nights when Gisborne McDonald's became my confidant and savior. The golden arches had a miraculous way of pulling me in. It’s been so hard throughout the 30 days 30 deals in november. I love you mcdonald’s

Yes, it's R&V week. Yes, i came thru the absolute peek of breakfast service. Yes, there was a pretty big wait on food due to above. Yes, my coffee came quick which made waiting all the more happier (coffee was always priority) Yes, my food managed to be soooo bloody good (even after such a wait) that i feel it might have been the best breakfast muffin i had from any Maccas! The pattys were dripping with juicy goodness, the yoke oozing just the way i like it & bun just perfectly matched with the rest of the meal. Actually forgot i had hash with also went down a treat; although feeling over full now! Cheers Maccas Gizzy for your hard mahi & providing a epic feed even with the madness of breaky service.
