Review The Thomas Green - Gore

Great place for quality meals. Had the beef Wellington, cooked to perfection, and the venison salad was also delicious. Service was great even on an extremely busy night, meal was a bit delayed but they apologized and let us know so that was fine. Great atmosphere and ambience, and we've never had a bad meal here.

A lovely brunch/lunch menu at The Thomas Green in Gore. Our group had Eggs Benedict, seafood chowder, delicious chicken salad and Thai red curry, although the Thai red curry was certainly not the best I had!!

Great venue, with a Gatsby flair. Very friendly staff, and beautifully cooked, flavorsome Salmon. Cocktail menu was a bit disappointing.

The Thomas Green is the flashiest place to dine in Gore. It serves a nice Western family cuisine in a very poshy feeling environment. Edit - re visited with a few friends and had an absolute blast. Nice food and excellent service from Grace and topped off by a lovely banter with Rozel.

Lovely meals, great helpful staff. Highly recommend. Great variety on the menu. My partner had the scallops as a starter, he said they were to die for. Will definately be back 👍

Nice classy place. Took me back to a time where the placement of your knife and fork mattered. Service was faultless. The pizza we ordered was the best ive tasted

Had lunch at the Thomas Green last Thursday. The staff was superb, very friendly! And this avocado bagels dish was delicious with a wee spice in it!

A fantastic experience at the TG tonight for our son’s birthday dinner. I called earlier in the day to reserve a table & asked if the lunchtime burger could be available for dinner. The young lady on service asked the chef who said it wouldn’t be a problem as it was a special birthday request. Our waitress was amazing, friendly and passed on birthday wishes from the chef, even popped a candle in his ice cream sundae! All of our meals were prompt, beautifully cooked, delicious and the presentation was top notch. Highly recommend the TG, especially for celebrating occasions.

Really impressed with the food and service. The tempura squid was delicious and the beef wellington an absolute treat. Despite being short staffed, it they were quick and accommodating. A little disappointed in the venison salad as rocket was substituted for cabbage and mesclun and goats cheese basically non existent which didn't represent the price.

The meals are a taste treat.staff are helpful . Great food for those special occasions.
