Loved the service and the food. Loved the date scone and hot chocolate. Very well priced as I visited Gore first time and coming from Auckland everything feels reasonable here.Loved how each table had a different set of salt and pepper sets in ceramic.
First time here from North Island, Service was good and the bacon butty was delicious, coffee was hot which you don’t always get from other places, yes would be back.

Staff very friendly. They have high chairs for kids. Food very good. Coffee good. Free help yourself water tap on counter.
Had the big breakfast. Was great. Not oversized or too heavy. Just the right amount for price. Everyone working was polite and greeted me with a smiling face.

Called in again in July when visiting Gore and the Oyster soup was just sooooo delicious I wished I was staying longer to have some more next day. Certainly restored my faith in the southern oysters cos the battered ones we had in Waihola this year were not as good as the year before.

Waffles are really good and value for money is quite good. Large portions and a wide selection make it a good choice.
My other half an i had paninis. They were beautiful!! Full to the brim with filling, perfectly heated with out being burnt or soggy, fresh, nicely presented and lovely staff.
