Wow! One of the best (if not best) burgers I've ever had!
I had the chomper burger. It was huge, great value for money. Barely managed to finish it and I'm still full around 4 hours later 🤯 Steak was lovely and pink in the middle. Buns were toasted nicely. Chips were delish as well.

Came all the way from Manapouri, (Possom Lodge) since it claimed that Mr. Chippy has the BEST BURGERS in New Zealand. I was not disappointed! Amazing burgers and excellent service. Very friendly owners! Highly recommend if you get a chance to visit Gore! I got the Mr. Chippy Chomper! Delicious!!!!
Best Burgers in NZ - made with love and super yummy! We drove 1h to get there and we were not disappointed, worth to go and take some extra miles on your roadtrip. Also loved the milkshake there! Lovely family business that runs this iconic place ☺️
Ordered a steak burger here: what a monster! Everything you could imagine in it and plenty of it. It was about $20 but took 2 days to finish (yes that's right). And generous (very) portions with all the standard fish and chip stuff. You owe it to yourself to try one of their burgers: it's a must-do.
For big or small eaters. They cater for all. Really appreciate your support and patience. It's just amazing all round. Said it was enough for 2, but I did not listen. Extras were wasted.

OMG. Their food is so good, we got 2 burgers and loved them both. Really generous filling (home made too), full of flavour. Buns not really to our taste, but a beautiful burger none the less. Definately worth trying. Great hospitality. Will be back for sure
