Review Gore Town & Country Club - Gore

Heather McDowell
The Club kindly hosted our Vintage Car Club run today for lunch. A choice of blue cod or chicken schnitzel with chips and coleslaw for our meal and so yummy. Such an hospitable Club. Highly recommended 👌

You know its great when after staying there a few nights you take out membership. T&C Gore has it all. Friendly staff and management. Very pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. A great restaurant with attentive staff. A large parking area with courtesy vans. A wonderful powered area for motorhomers that comes with shower/bathroom facilities. They are very welcoming....

Possibly being picky on the food. Was great but salad bar wasnt open and had been thinking about salad all day 😁. Other then that was great

Visited as guests from another club for lunch. Great place, food and service were exemplary.

The food was delicious, servings generous but would’ve preferred my apricot sauce in a bowl on my plate not poured over the chicken as so sickly sweet it spoilt the schnitzel and was left to try and scrape off as much as possible.Lady head of house in restaurant was fabulous,so much character.Overall, very good

Great club friendly staff & patrons. We stayed in their camp area, very reasonable charge. Would recommend.

We stayed here on a powered site for $8 including a small kitchen and toilet (bring your own paper) - we think it is more there reasonable and highly recommend this place as it is also pretty quite during the night. We had in the club itself dinner and drinks, which were good and reasonable priced too - if you ask at the bar, you even get free Wi-Fi.

While motorhoming in the South Island we had the pleasure to stay here and enjoy the amenities and would like to thank you all for providing such a great stop over and friendly club.

We spent 3 really enjoyable days at this place, excellent parking setup for motorhomes, fantastic meal at very reasonable price - for me a mark of any good restaurant is not only theeal but that chips are served very hot (that's critical) and we found the staff in both the restaurant and the bar/club etc. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Great campsite for self-contained vehicles. $8 with power and wifi, showers $1 coupon, washing machine $3 and dryer & clothesline on site. 1 toilet & shower onsite. Pay at club. Walking distance to town. Meals available at the club. Bar food available daily, Thur to Sunday restaurant open, reasonable prices, just get someone to sign you in if you are no afflicted member. Bar open. Toilets and wifi available inside. Some nights entertainment is available also

Great friendly evening with huge tasty meal. Stayed in the motorhome park which was a bit noisy but AB's played Italy at 2pm so that explained it all. Recommended.
