Review Greytown Fish Supply - Greytown

This place has been a Greytown icon since forever. Every time I'm back in town I must have the chicken fried rice and some chips. It must be done. Always good. And feels like a fish and chip shop should. Thank you for always being open and making good food.

Best fish and chips in town and beats most other places for quality.

Recommended to us by a young lad eating his chips. "Look for the Coke tin" he said. Extremely busy, with customers waiting and others coming to collect their orders. Friendly staff advised us of 15 minute wait but seating available and chatty customers made time fly. Kumara chips were soft (hence 3 stars) but edible...filled a gap.

Always stop into this shop when I'm home...even if its just for a fish hehe

We ordered fish & chips as well as some dumplings and fried rice. Everything was very yummy and was ready on time. Looking forward to getting takeaways here again.

Stopped in for lunch, very nice fish and chips, fish was moist and fresh, and the chips were the old fashioned way...

ol my god just got home and wow we smashed it all back. fish was sooo yum plus chips beautifully cooked. very clean and extremely pleasant experience.I'm a first time customer but as long that the food is this great we life time customers now

Food is great! First timer here for Friday getaway dinner with friends. Things get a little crazy busy on Friday nights so I suggest call in or place order in advance to avoid longer waiting time.

The best fish n chips I've had in 15 years of living in NZ ! Finally someone who can make proper batter !

Ventured in despite being a little hesitant on its "outside" look, however would highly recommend their food. Both my partner and I have food intolerances,but they listened, discussed so all parties were fully aware, and delivered a yummy chow mein and sweet nd sour pork. Only suggestion is more sauce and the addition of say pinapple and capsicum 😄
