Kokodeli Cafe - Greytown - Photo album

Great coffee, the cut roast sandwich, made fresh,on the spot, were a perfect restore for balance of day. Outdone zone lovely on a sunny day.
Have learnt that you go early before lunch rush. Love beef/ ham roasts or thick hot meat Sammies. Today I had the best sea food chowder ever..generous with seafood and served with perfectly cooked Vogel's. The coffee ain't to bad either ๐Ÿ˜‰
Great food and ambiance but slow queue at the counter, which was frustrating. I got stuck behind a woman who was buying takeaway food and hot drinks for a group, and the person serving seemed to be the only one getting it all sorted.
Have been here before this time at 1.15 for lunch no pies,, no beef left and odd pasta salad. Disappointed. Came back two days later chicken pies and vegetables. Beautiful to eat. Now that is what we wanted on previous visit lesson learnt the early bird.... Will be back.
Had mushrooms soup but came curried which not shown in menu. Was tasty and good lot of fish etc.
A group of us meet here weekly and enjoy great quality tea, coffee and cake or scones. Love the individual teapots and bone China cups and saucers. There is a good selection of gluten free cakes available but I would be delighted if I could buy a gluten free savoury muffin. Would Kokodeli be prepare
We were visiting friends on a road-trip from afar and they took us to Kokodeli. What an absolute TREAT! Fresh hot ham or beef sandwiches were delicious and a mocha was top notch. All the other food looked fantastic too, all wrapped up in a lovely environment - we'll be back again!
We had a beautiful meal at Kokodeli. The chicken pie was spot on and we loved the sliced beef sandwich with horseradish. The interior is warm and inviting with beautiful decorations and interesting retail including homemade relishes. I look forward to coming here again next time Iโ€™m in Greytown!
Amazing food and service. Highly recommend ๐Ÿ‘Œ
Very popular cafe get there early to ensure a table , although service was very quick pleased to say ๐Ÿ˜€
We visited from Whangarei staying at Martinborough. What a great little find this cafe was. The food was fresh and delicious. The staff lovely &friendly. The surroundings were so pretty under the outside tree area. Would highly recommend.
Itโ€™s often hard to find suitable food in small towns when youโ€™re FODMAP and gluten free, but I had a delicious sandwich here. They have friendly service and a sheltered and sunny outside area to sit. Would definitely come back.
This is an excellent cafe with fresh, comfort food. Beautiful hot meat sandwiches, great apple cake. Good service. Will be back
