Review The Pour House - Hahei

Really relaxed place, super friendly service with a smile and overall good food! We ordered Pork Ribs and Fish&Chips, both really nice. These would be found on their specials menu written on a chalkboard in the bar, so don't be alarmed it you search online and only find a Pizza menu, there isn't just that. Today they also had a beef bacon burger and a poke bowl with salmon in their specials menu. Their beers are also quite pleasant! We're not in a position to compare meal prices with the rest of NZ since this is our first day here, but i would say price is a standard european city price.

I visited The Pour House on a sunny day and I was impressed by the friendly atmosphere, the delicious food, and the amazing craft beers. I ordered the pumpkin soup, which was one of the best I’ve ever had. It was creamy, rich, and full of flavour. The brew bear was a sight to behold, a huge stuffed bear wearing a Pour House t-shirt and holding a pint of beer. It was very cute and made me smile. The pizza was just amazing, with a thin crust, fresh toppings, and generous cheese. I tried the Good as Gold beer, which was a light and refreshing pilsner with a citrusy aroma. It was the perfect accompaniment to my meal. The staff were very attentive and helpful, and they gave me some tips on what to see and do in the area. I had a great time at The Pour House and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves good food and beer. It was definitely the highlight of my trip!

Pretty neat little restaurant. They were happy to save a table for us even though we weren't exactly sure when we would arrive. Tasty food, good presentation, and they brew their own drinks! The spiced cider was quite tasty! Beth was very helpful, even was willing to make my father a cocktail despite not knowing the recipe (more of a brew house). Great place! And give Beth a raise :p

Great food and atmosphere. The pizzas were really good. The bartender who took our order and person who brought out our pizza were both super friendly and accommodating. Was a great place to grab dinner with my kids. I also heard the bartender put a very professional but firm stop to a young man calling her “baby doll,” which is apparently a thing that still happens to female bartenders. So that was awesome.

The ladies who served us were amazing. They knew the menu well, they were very helpful and always smiling. We headed here after our long walk from cathedral cove. We were very hungry and it was very late. Most food places were closed but this one was open. The girls who served were smiling and welcoming. They were kind and and answered to all queries. We had tacos and pizzas. The tacos ranch was vegan and yummy. The pizza base was thin, crispy and well done. The toilets are clean. The atmosphere is very calm and serene.

Great Place next to Beach, where you can Walk to Cathedral Cove. Beautiful garden and lovely atmosphere. The waiter werde great and kind We had the beer paddle for tasting, they have A own brewery. On top we are the Pizza, the mussels, Fisch and Chips and the mango prwan noodle salad. All of them were beautiful made and fresh and tasty. Great Place.

We arrived there just after 9 pm, and the kitchen was supposed to close at 9 pm. However, they kindly took our order and made us pizzas, which we felt very grateful❤️ Otherwise, we wouldn't have anything to eat that night as we couldn't find any other restaurant that remained open. We had a chicken pizza and a seafood one, but they were both quite burned underneath. We're not sure whether it's their standard or it's because the chief was in a rush at that time.

Fantastic food! Beautiful outdoor seating with amazing veggie and vegan options. I highly recommend the Cauliflower Tacos, you’ll need more then one, they are that damn good!

Super little spot in Hahei. Peaceful gardens, even the ladies loo had a cute touch. We had Nachos and Pizza's which were a little pricey (same price as the takeaway next door) but delicious with tables in a pretty garden setting. Staff were very friendly and all in all it was a lovely outing.

Good and quick service. The battered fresh fish and chips were really delicious. Batter crispy and the fish cooked till it was flaky and tender. The chips were crispy and golden, and not too oily. Definitely a well deserved meal after lots of walking around cathedral cove!

Fun, swanky spot! The atmosphere is bright, warm, attractive, and cheery -- exactly the thing on a brisk winter night. (On which they were open.) The blue cheese pizza was delightfully delicious, enough so that we came back for it again! Outdoor seating is generally accessible, but the indoor seating is tight and narrow quarters. Toilets are similar.

Good beers and good, thin crust pizzas from friendly team. Kitchen does close a bit early though so don’t leave it too late to get there.

The Pour house is Coromandal's little gem cafe, with their in house home brewed beer (didn't get a chance to try - but probably is really nice) The prices of the food is reasonable. We had the day special mussel's which wasn't on the menu, and it was absolutely divine, with just the right amount of chilli spice covered in a creamy sauce not too spicy that even someone who doesn't eat spice could really enjoy. 5/5 really would recommend. One of the nicest mussels I've ever had. Their so called best chunky fries doesn't disappoint either, it lives up to it's name! With a side of top quality customer service. Their outdoor seating area is an open space , with areas with or without cover to enjoy the locals around, it was quite busy at the time we went but was still great. This is a perfect spot for those who has just done the coromandal hike, and come back for a rest and a quick bite. Give this place a visit. Thank me later.

We went on a really busy night but the staff were still attentive and lovely. Not to mention the fabulous beers (monted monk) and pizza (chicken and cranberry). Keep up the great mahi!
