Review The Kirk Cafe - Hamilton

Gorgeous food, generous serves and really lovely service who were patient and kind to us with young children. We came for brunch and everything was delicious, the coffee, the food and the cakes selection! Highly recommend.

Food was delicious. Good amount of salad and dressing. Thought prices were a bit expensive but cafe was light, clean, airy and staff were friendly and attentive. Easy parking.

Food was a tad too salty, but the flavours were good. Coffee was good and presented well. Service was a bit slammed, but only having two people working (one chef, one front of house), it was still very within reason.

Very helpful and friendly staff - Katniss the cat is sweet too, but not intrusive! The food was excellently presented and very flavourful. Thank you for a lovely lunch!

One of the best cafe i found when i was looking for something for breakfast. Lovely place with lots of dining space and parking space. Very well organised, food was excellent and outstanding service. The lady owner is so sweet and friendly. Special Thanks to her for the recommendation Tried their Avocado on toast, Eggs on toast, mini breakfast special. Everything was outstanding and mouth watering. Portion size is amazing one plate good for one person. Not only the food the coffee is also superb. I usually have Mocha in morning which I usually get the smell of burnt coffee in most of the cafe but here it was made to perfection with exact amount of coffee, milk and chocolate. Very thing is very lovely. Must visit. Will visit again when back in Hamilton.

We drove from Tauranga and our friends drove from Auckland so we had high expectations. I ordered the famous French toast and loved it. It was like eating a work of art. Hubby had the eggs Benni and it looked incredible! Be prepared to spend a bit of money though.

Nice place. My food was a bit salty, but the flavors were good. Raw beetroot didn't add anything much. They had a staffing crisis the day we were there, but they coped well despite this. The sweet treats looked amazing. And the cat was very friendly.

One of the best cafes I have eaten in Hamilton. Good food with very minute detailing. Excellent presentation I tried the avocado toast which was delicious infact I really like the pickle cauliflower and spicy dukkah it lifted the whole dish. Bright and fresh colours the dish really stand out to me. Well done team Kirk we would definitely be back.

Today was my second time visiting this little cafe, and it was exactly as I remembered it from my first visit last year. Between the cabinet food and the menu on offer there is something there for everyone, and the presentation of all of the dishes coming out of the kitchen was quite something. Good food, great coffee, and service with a smile! What more could you ask for? I only wish I was up this way more often so I could work my way down the menu.

Beautiful food, friendly staff and great atmosphere to join with friends. Eggs Benedict, mushrooms, hash browns, feta compote and basil pesto. French toast with banana and fairy floss. Presentation was absolutely stunning and the food tasted just as delicious as it looked. If you have a large group best to call or email to book in to ensure you can get a table as it is very popular for a reason. They also offering catering for events or functions just get in touch via email or phone.

Five star experience, I mean seriously I can't fault anything about anything in this place.<br/><br/>Walked in and greeted by the most amazing smiles and warmest welcome. Simple but comfortable setting.<br/><br/>Food was exceptional. The food looks as amazing as they taste. Presentation is just like looking at pieces of art, vibrant, colourful, well thought. And the taste is heavenly, ingredients are fresh, servings are generous. normally I would give a more detailed description of each dishes, but no words can do justice of their food. You just have to try it to believe it.<br/><br/>Well done guys and thank you for the great experience.

loved all the different range components. The kimchi and coleslaw were so good with the tender chicken. The salmon was beaaautiful with the benny and the french toast was amazing.

It was indeed a refreshing dish and and surprisingly the corn chips lasted the crunchyness throughout our lunch!! I have never ordered a sweet dish from a cafe before but oh my oh my this 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲 𝗯𝗿𝘂𝗹𝗲𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝘁𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁 shed a light at the end of the tunnel! I LOVE EVERYTHING IN IT! The summer berries lifted the dish up so much! And that caramelized banana BOOM upgraded the dish.<br/>What needed to be improved is the coffee though. We ordered mocha, flat white and a latte. It was an unfortunate that all tasted veryyyy watery

In Hamilton for the weekend, checked out Zomato for cafes, This place already had a high review and safe to say it wasn't wrong. I got the Creme Brulee French Toast with added bacon, my mates also liked their southern fried chicken benedict and baked eggs. Staff are friendly, would attend again.

What a find! Visited here one morning on a trip to Hamilton and ended up going back three mornings in a row. Looks pretty unassuming from the outside but the food was fantastic. This was matched by great coffee and exceptionally friendly service.

Definitely recommend the French toast & chicken burger, can’t wait to try the rest of the menu!

Lovely place to catch up with friends over a simple, scrumptious eggs bene for brunch for $21 and a large hot chocolate for $5. Which is a reasonable, cafe price. Also had the option of eating indoor or outdoor. However, place does need a bit more space area as it is not ideal for prams when it starts getting crowded & busy.

this is my new favourite cafe in Hamilton. The food is fresh and tasty and so colourful. It also has a nice balance of slightly spicy and savoury. I want to try everything on the menu now

Creative cuisine cooked to perfection with a real focus on artistic presentation. Why not have eggs benedict with caramelised pork belly!!!? French toast with blackberry foam and caramel sauce, meringue, caramel banana. Service was excellent.

I had to try the charcoal omelette with salmon. Unfortunately it didn’t match my tastebuds. <br/>I found the flavours of the seaweed salad in the omelette a weird combo.<br/>Presentation was a 10/10
